Beautiful property, little parking

  • 4 of 5

What a gorgeous condo! Wow! Right in the heart of everything in Vail. BEAUTIFUL views. HOWEVER, we brought 2 cars. We were told that you could park there for an additional $25. When we arrived, very close to check-in time, all the spots were taken. I had a car full of kids and many items to bring in for the weekend. The spot had to go to my aging parents and I had to park far away. Of course I forgot a few necessary items in the car. How frustrating to have to walk so far to get the tickets for the event we came to Vail for. For the cost of the condo, parking needs to be included.

Beautiful property- exactly what I was looking for!

  • 5 of 5

The property was absolutely picturesque from the balcony overlooking Gore Creek! The whole process from booking to check out was super simple and the room had everything my friends and I needed for my bachelorette weekend with plenty of room!

We will definitely book here again when we go back to Vail!

Great but No AC for the summer

  • 4 of 5

Overall it was a great condo in a great location. We were a little worried staying in a ski town in the middle of summer but it was very nice. There are many good things about the condo but with all places there are a couple small issues.

We were surprised there was no Air Conditioning in the room. We rented the condo in July of 2017 after spending a couple days in Moab Utah were it was very hot. When we entered the room in Vail it felt a little warm. After trying to figure out how to turn on the AC with no luck we asked the front desk only to find out there is no AC. They explained Vail gets cool at night and we should be fine to sleep with the windows open. There is a big sliding glass door and windows in the bedrooms. The issue was there were no screen in the sliding glass door or the bedroom downstairs window. At night moths would get attacked to the light and fly in so we couldn't keep them open. If we were in the room before it got dark we would open the windows to cool the room and shut the door before the moths came out. It worked fine and this will only be an issue at hot times and for people who like AC cold.

The second thing I would point out was the pullout in the upstairs bedroom is very uncomfortable. The condo sleeps 6 very well but if you have to use the pullout for an older child it is not good. I don't know of too many pullout that are great but this one was worse than I have seen others.

I hate to write so much about the 2 issues above because of all the good this room had. Antlers is in a great location in Vail and this room was in a perfect location in Antlers, on the end above the pool. The room was clean and well decorated. The staff was very friendly. Parking was tight and we only could have one parking spot when I was expecting to get two with a small extra cost. This was not an issue because Vail has free parking not too far from the room. You don't need a car anyway because the bus is great. Don't let anything I said stop you from renting this condo. I just wanted to point out the AC because it was surprising to us. And if you can't live without it, I don't want that surprise to wreck your trip.

The property had a beautiful view of the river. The location was great. The unit was clean.

The property was clean, centrally located, and had beautiful views. The staff was helpful and friendly. I only wish our unit had more square footage for a three bedroom. It was a little cramped in the living area for six adults to sit and talk. I would stay at the property again though. Overall it was very nice, but not luxurious.
