LAYOUT:

Entry level has the BUNK HOUSE which can sleep 5 children. One double-single and one single-single bunk can accommodate them all downstairs. Comfy couches, TV, Nintendo . . . the kids will be well entertained one their own floor. A full bathroom for the kids as well.

The Second level is where everyone can meet. The kitchen, dining room and living room all flow into each other so it lends itself to being the most social area. TV, fireplace and comfy couches for relaxing.

The hot tub is located on a covered deck just outside the kitchen. There is also an office on this floor for those people who just might have to get a few things done while on holiday.

The Third level has the Master bedroom with Queen bed and full bathroom including jetted tub. A second Master which also has a full bathroom with a rain shower. Front loading washer and dryer are also located on this floor.

Great trip !

We had a really good time. The town home is in a phenomenal location, great ski in and ski out.

The garage set up is excellent for equipment. The only knocks are that it was missing a few luxuries -- such as a sound system and some amenities in the kitchen; But all around it was very good value. We'd come back.

Family ski vacation

We had two couples and two kids. The kids loved having their own space to sleep and play. Each couple had a nice bedroom with ensuite. The place was very well equipped. Plenty of dishes and some essential spices and whatnot. It's only a short walk to the slopes, but a bit of a steep uphill climb to get on them. Not a problem for adults, but our kids are only 3 & 5, so we found it easier to save their energy and drive down to the gondola, but that wasn't a big deal. Overall the place was great. Lots of space. Would be ideal for two families with a couple of kids each. The bunk room is great and gives the kids and adults their own space. Would definitely book here again.

Great Vacation

We just returned from our trip to Big White. This townhouse worked perfect for our 2 families. Loved the layout and it had everything we needed. A couple small issues - but Janet was quick to try and help. Having a heated garage is such a nice perk with lots of ski equipment and wet clothes. It was a wonderful view of the Fireworks on Saturday nights. The kids were so excited!!!

Perfect for 2 families

This unit was perfect for 2 families of 4. The kids spent their time off the hill in the bunk room. 2 master suites upstairs with ensuites. We had a couple of small issues which were dealt with immediately by the owner and property manager. Thanks Peggy & Janet.

Big White is 60 km (35 miles) from Kelowna, the largest city in the Okanagan Valley, making it easily accessible. You can fly into Kelowna’s International Airport and take a quick shuttle (55 minutes) to get you to the Big White.

Blacksmith Lodge is nestled halfway in between Happy Valley and the Village Centre. Happy Valley offers plenty of activities and entertainment including, ice skating, tubing, x-country skiing and nightly activities. Fine dining, bar and cafeteria style restaurants are located in the Happy Valley Day Lodge. A quick ride up the Gondola to the Village Centre has a multitude of amenities. Restaurants, coffee shops, grocery store, retail shopping, massage, kids centre and various other amenities are also located at the Village Centre. A free on mountain shuttle runs about every 1/2 hour throughout the resort.

The cancellation policy is a full refund of the deposit minus $50 for the credit card transaction fees if it is more than 30 days prior to arrival. If it is within the 30 days, we open the dates and try to re-book and will refund what we are able to get from the re-booking. If the dates are not re-booked, then there is no refund.

Deposit of 50% at time of Reservation and balance of 50% due 30 days prior to arrival
