About Lacie Hamlin
My husband and I grew up in Lyon County and after college returned to make it our home and raise our family. Rick and I have been blessed with three beautiful daughters ~ Claire. Olivia & Faith. Rick is an engineer with BNSF railroad. I am a real estate agent with Ek Real Estate. We have a farm 7 miles north of Emporia that includes cattle, crops, and hay. We enjoy spending time camping and boating in the summer and watching our daughters' sporting events during the school year as well as some K-State and Emporia State athletics. We are glad you took the time to look at our property and look forward to you staying with us!

Why Lacie Hamlin chose Emporia
Living in larger cities before returning to Lyon County and enjoying our stays at VRBO properties when we travel gave us the desire to offer something similar when visiting the Emporia area. Our rates beat most hotel rates in our area and offer more space and amenities then an average hotel. Being close to downtown appealed to us for many reasons some of which being the charm, revitalization, and proximity to local events. As we were furnishing this apartment we knew we wanted our guest to feel comfortable and at home.
What makes this Apartment unique
Built in the 1960s and remodeled in the last year this building holds the flavor of the day it was built while updated to feel fresh. Sitting on the cusp of downtown, residential, and the University gives this building's location a unique flavor.

Cozy apartment in an ideal location!
My friends and I just ended a week long stay at this great apartment. It was very clean and exactly as advertised in terms of layout. The location couldn’t be more convenient; it is located in easy walking to distance to the downtown area of Emporia. We loved sitting on the porch on warmer days before heading out to dinner. The owner was very responsive, and was kind enough to offer recommendations for our stay as well! Highly recommended.
Very lovely apartment. I would definitely stay here again. The only thing I would say is the master bedroom was very cold at night when you closed the door and there were a lot of stairs up to the apartment. I don’t have a problem with stairs but it was hard with all the luggage and we couldn’t have certain family come by because they can’t do stairs.
Perfectly located walking distance from Downtown.
Great location. Clean, cozy and comfy beds.
This apartment was perfect! It was cute, clean and walking distance to absolutely everything. There is no need for a car as restaurants, shopping and a grocery store are all very close. We are already planning a return trip!
Our stay was wonderful. We gave short notice as we were traveling for a funeral. Lacie text me upon arrival to see if we needed anything at all. She met requests and accommodations. For being so close to down town and the college is was very quite which was extremely nice. Lacie kept in contact trough out our stay. She was an excellent host.
