About Andrea Davies

We are a Vancouver family of six, with kids ranging between 9-15 years, all of us avid skiers. We love to spend as much time as possible in Whistler, but hockey, soccer and travel sometimes get in the way!

Why Andrea Davies chose Vancouver Coast & Mountains

We drive so much in the city that prefer to park our car once we get to Whistler. From this location, you don't need to drive anywhere, whether you are hiking, biking, swimming, skiing, skating, shopping or dining. We love the convenience of being right in Creekside Village, which is smaller and less busy than Whistler Village, where the nightlife can get a little rowdy. Whistler Village can be accessed from Creekside Village via the Creekside Gondola, or a quick bike, drive, taxi or bus.

What makes this townhome unique

Being located just two buildings from the ski lifts, beside a coffee shop, and walking distance to everything else you need, is a wonderful luxury. We can ski down to Creekside's legendary apres ski location, Dusty's bar and grill, while the kids ski the shortcut behind it back to our chalet for ping pong and gaming.

Cozy ski retreat that is well apointed with all a family needs

  • 5 of 5

My family had a fantastic stay at Andrea's property. The process was seemless from our booking to the details she sent me prior to arriving. The house was clean, modern, bright and well equipped with everything you need. My family greatly enjoyed our nightly ping pong tournaments following a day of skiing. The grocery store and slopes are in walking distance as well as a Tom Hortons. Loved everything about this place and our time there. The checkout was equally easy and I had my deposit in a few days. She was even kind enough to send a bag my eleven year old daughter left there.

Enjoyed our stay

  • 5 of 5

We came over March Break with our three children-13, 10, and 9. There was plenty of space for everyone. The kids loved the bunk room, the ability to sled behind the house and the proximity to the Tims which they could go to easily. I personally loved the decor and felt comfortable there. We'd be happy to return.

Great value

  • 5 of 5

We wanted a reasonably priced, nice place for a group of 5 within easy walking of the lifts. We got what we were looking for and more. The house is within 3 minutes walking distance to the lift. It is nicely furnished, and leans to being functional, not fancy. It's clear a family with kids owns and uses the place. We felt right at home - it had just about everything a family could ask for. The kitchen was surprisingly well-equipped. We had two people who like to cook, and they found everything they wanted.

One nice touch - the ski boot dryer / warmer in the garage. We used it starting the second day and were surprised at how much easier it was to put on a warm boot than a cool one (that had been kept upstairs in the house). The trick is to place the boot upside down, with the boot opening right above the baseboard heater, for about an hour (more if you are drying).

The owner, Andrea, was a pleasure to deal with. She made sure we had all the needed information and was very responsive to requests. This place was well worth renting. On our next trip to Whistler, we would definitely rent again.

Perfect

  • 5 of 5

I have stayed at a number of Airbnbs in Whistler over the years. This tops them all by far. Location, functional space, well appointed kitchen, storage for gear, access to Creekside gondola, Dusty's (bar), grocery store, parking and layout. 3 Fathers and 4 university aged sons had plenty of room to rest, socialize and cook meals. We did not go out for dinner once as the place was so comfortable and the kitchen so functional. 2 small rooms and 1 large "bunk" room very well designed with comfortable beds and easily room for 5. 2 great, clean bathrooms and a jet tub, which was used. 5 full days of skiing and 4 nights. No need to look further then this place as it is ideal for a stay at Creekside, the quieter less hectic side of Whistler. Heather was available throughout and very professional.

Beautiful condo very close to creekside lift.

  • 5 of 5

Stayed here with my family on a ski trip. The condo was well furnished and very comfortable. The lift is walking distance. Pretty much everything you need is close by, and the village is a 5 min drive or bus. The garage provides safe storage for your gear. It was a little too cold to use the ping pong table though. Beds weren't too bad. The bathroom on main floor had heated tiles which was nice. Andrea was really quick to respond to all my questions. Overall it was a great vacation.

Very comfortable getaway for the family

  • 5 of 5

This townhouse is perfectly set up for small and big families. This cozy retreat is an easy walk to the shuttle and gondola. The place is very clean and well maintained. Parking was easy. The electronic lock system is useful and allows for easy access (i.e. no messing around with keys) for multiple people. There is plenty of room for many kids though in our case we only had 2 sets of adult couples. We had plenty of room/space given that the two main rooms are a floor apart, each with its own bathroom. The walls are thin though so you can hear between floors and can hear the townhouse next door. But it wasn't too much of a problem for us. The slanted ceiling in one of the rooms lends for a cozy feel, though very tall people should just be careful with their heads! Very minor problem though. The use of the garage for storage of ski gear is convenient. I imagine that the summer time this place would be great too given the ping pong table in the garage and deck space. We would definitely consider returning here!
