The original accommodation:
Making full use of the original trulli constructions, the two cones of Trullo Piccolo, a fully detached immaculate Tree Honeymoon House and a Stone Villa rise proudly from the stunning countryside outside Alberobello. And when hunger comes, after a day of relaxing in the plunge pools, a quick stroll down a country lane will take you to a local trattoria, serving delicious Puglian food… to eat in or take home!
Inside: accommodation at Trullo Piccolo is spread over one trulli building, one wood building and one glass building. The larger of the three, the trulli, has two cones divided into living and sleeping areas, which feature traditional creamy stone walls, two high conical ceilings and, through an arch, a separate shower room.
The second building, the White Wood House, has been built with an immaculate white timber throughout the interior and exterior walls. It features a double bedroom and a large walk-in shower room with a skylight and a concertina door, surrounded by olive trees. The third building, the Glass Veranda, has a kitchen with a table for 8.
In all buildings the original features and stone/wood/glass structures have been kept intact as much as possible and furnishing and fittings complement these aspects with minimalist rusti-chic panache.
Outside: Trullo Piccolo features a delightful plunge pool set amongst a series of lawns, dotted with olive trees and criss-crossed by dry-stone walls and gravel paths, one of which takes you down to the lovely Glass Veranda Kitchen, situated just below the trulli building and offering views over the gentle surrounding countryside. Closer to the house are a series of sitting areas and an al fresco dining area for those long summer dinners! One of the features of the Trullo Piccolo Residence is a spectacular 12x3 meters infinity pool.
The Villa:
The property has doubled its space since 2017, with a new stone lamia building, which houses two double bedrooms with en-suite shower rooms, living area and a kitchen under a stone volt.
