Just arrived home after a wonderful stay at Peter Rabbit Gite! From booking through to departure communication was perfect. Olivier recommended a local pizzeria and a couple of nice beaches to visit with the children. His recommendation didn’t disappoint. Perfect rural location but central to D-Day attractions. Would 100% recommend for a perfect holiday.

Family holiday

Beautiful place, split across two properties, pool was a bonus, and everybody loved the snooker room. House was ready on arrival lovely and clean we was shown around by Oliver who was there to answer any questions and he kept us updated throughout the week to let us know the gardener was coming to cut the lawns. The views was beautiful not over looked and the weather was fantastic, can not fault this place.

What a wonderful place! So peaceful, quiet and relaxing in the middle of the country side, yet not far from sights.Honfleur is a thirty minute drive, a bakery is within a few minutes drive. Pont l'évêque is within twenty minutes.We went to Omaha beach which was an hour and a half away.Le Mont Saint Michel was two hours.Loved the house! Perfect for ten people to hang out and enjoy!The heated indoor pool is connected to the house. Comfortable accommodations for everyone.Three full bathrooms in the main house with three bedrooms. The other building houses two bedrooms and full baths with a pool table room and a foosball table in another.There is also a small washing machine here and a line outside with pegs to hang laundry.You can hear sheep bleating in a nearby field and horses neighing.We will definitely go back!Thank you Christophe and Olivier!Very responsive and immediately at house when needed.We loved it!

The property was in good order and is in a quiet location. Our teens appreciated the pool attached to the 2nd smaller property on site which was for our use during the stay. It would have been helpful at time of booking to be clearer on the description that 2 bedrooms were away from the main house so we were unable to use due to safety issues with our children. The property does need some cosmetic updating but everything was in working order during our stay. We found that the contents within the property whilst to some extent useful did mean storage was a real challenge for us as a party of 4 as Cupboards were already full. The host was excellent and very responsive.

Dear Stephen, I'm sorry you were bothered by the fact that there are two houses on the property, but we clearly stated this in the title and body of the ad. Furthermore, there were only four of you, and they were in the main house, which sleeps six, and four in the outbuilding. The children could have been safely with you in the main house. Kids loved Peter Rabbit House

Lovely house in lovely location. Peaceful location with lovely views of the countryside. Nice pool. Only criticisms was; there were trip hazards throughout downstairs difficult for toddlers. 2-3cm ledges in the rooms and pool area which were difficult to see as floor tiling was same colour. Settee and armchair well past it’s sell by date. Kitchen tiny for the amount of people able to stay. Bathroom sink tap in kitchen needs attention water sprays everywhere when turned on.

The property is in a beautiful location, very quiet and benefits from a swimming pool that the children enjoyed every day. The photographs on the website could do with updating and the description could be improved to make it clear that accommodation is split between 2 buildings approximately 60m apart. The property would benefit from a good deep clean and some basic maintenance. Other reviews have mentioned several trip hazards. Our group comprised 6 adults and 3 young children. We thoroughly enjoyed the holiday but some minor improvements would be of benefit.

This was a lovely property to suit our family - two grandparents , two adult sons , one daughter in law , two grandchildren ( aged 11 and 9 ) . The garden was great with plenty of shade and lots of room for the grandchildren to play . We all enjoyed the pool which was kept scrupulously clean . One of three bedrooms in the main house on the ground floor was fine for our eldest son and his wife ( but that room was not en suite) whilst there was another double bed in one room upstairs and a single bed in the other upstairs bedroom . In the separate building my wife and I had the downstairs bedroom en suite ( both adequate ) and our younger son was very happy in the upstairs bedroom which was ensuite. The kitchen in the main house was well equipped and the outdoors barbecue was useful too . In all this was a great place for a holiday with easy access to the Intermarche hypermarket in Pont L' Eveque and the lake close to that town .

Très beau gite dans un écrin de nature au calme absolu et très verdoyant.Logement très propre, joliment décoré et bien équipé.La maison principale est collée à la piscine ce qui est très pratique pour se baigner par temps froid.La literie est confortable et chaque chambre dispose d'une salle bain dédiée.Le deuxième bâtiment est complètement séparé (30m environs), avec la salle de billard, le baby foot et le sauna, dans notre cas c'était un vrai plus, car on avait deux adolescentes qui ont pu avoir leur intimité et leur indépendance pour veiller tard et s'amuser jusqu'au bout de la nuit Un seul conseil, prévoir des chaussons car le sol est froid (carrelage), mais le chauffage et la cheminée sont très efficaces Olivier a été très flexible et super accueillant ! On sera ravi de revenir une prochaine fois !

Die Unterkunft ist mit Liebe zum Detail und mit frz. Flair ausgestattet. Lage und Natur sehr schön. Sehr nette Gastgeber Olivier und Christophe. Absolute Ruhe und Entspannung sind gut zum Stressabbau. Ausstattung sehr gut. Pool, Kicker und Billiard wurden gern genutzt. Küche und Sanitärräume waren sauber. Nicht zufrieden waren wir mit der Sauberkeit der Schlafräume in den Schränken, unter den Betten, quitschende Türen.
