Casa de Pilatos es una casa rústica de las Azores, aislada, con impresionantes vistas al mar y con muchos espacios verdes al aire libre.
Para su estadía en familia o amigos, ofrece 2 habitaciones con cama doble, 1 habitación con 2 camas individuales, sala, comedor, cocina, baño y todo lo necesario para que se sienta muy cómodo. Existe la posibilidad de colocar una cama supletoria.
En el exterior hay muchos espacios verdes donde se puede disfrutar de la magnífica vista del mar, la montaña y la parroquia de los monasterios.
El atardecer es deslumbrante. Para aprovechar al máximo estos panoramas, tiene a su disposición una barbacoa, hamacas y todo el material necesario para vivir el jardín.
La Casa da Pilatos se encuentra a las afueras del macizo de Sete Cidades, a 1 km de la playa de Mosteiros, a 2 km de las piscinas naturales de Mosteiros, a unos 5 km de la emblemática Lagoa das Sete Cidades y la piscina de agua caliente natural, Ferraria. La ciudad de Ponta Delgada está a 28 km y el aeropuerto a 25 km.

This is the rare rental where the photos don’t do justice to the rental. The views over Mostieros and the Atlantic, and the general environment, including horses behind the house, are spectacular. You enter the house, which is clean, fully supplied and beautiful in a rustic way, and say “wow.” Then you walk into the sun room with floor to ceiling windows and it takes your breath away. The host has seen to every detail and is a lovely person. Instead of being a place to sleep between adventures away fro the house, we always looked forward to waking up in and returning to the house. Extraordinary.

Super stay

Great location, beautiful spacious property. Traditional charm with modern amenities. Especially loved the sun room. Outside shower area nice. Easy to get everywhere. Enjoyed the local beach/steves, sete citades, santa barbara beach/cafe, hot ocean pools- geothermal pools, plantations… all of it.

Serene special place that definitely feels like you've arrived home.

Amazing views, sweet horses, beautiful new sunroom, love the outdoor bathroom...I could go on & on, but suffice to say this place & its owners are wonderful! We felt the peace & tranquility the moment we arrived. Every detail you could ask for was thought of in advance. We were welcomed with a variety of local treats to enjoy until we could get to a supermarket. Consider booking a little longer stay to give yourself some extra time at the house to thoroughly enjoy the numerous zen areas that really rejuvenate your soul!

This house and property were stunning! The pictures don't do it justice. Highly recommend it. The grounds are beautiful with amazing views and outdoor seating. The house has 3 large bedrooms. The entire house is well furnished, with comfortable beds and decorated beautifully. Great welcome gifts from the host as well!It isn't close to restaurants, so buy your groceries before you get there. But you won't want to leave!

Beautiful home!

Enjoyed everyday of our stay here. After touring around the island everyday we couldn't wait to get back. Especially enjoyed the sunroom off the kitchen. We sat out there every single day. Coffee and breakfast in the morning. Wine and cheese appetizers and dinner in late afternoon. Luckily we brought binoculars to try and spot whales and watch fishing boats.So much bird activity to observe. Great to watch them come and go and build nest or get drinks from the water bowls outside.Such a beaeutiful place.

Incredible home and location

We were absolutely blown away by the quality of the property, very clean, with all the amenities we needed and more!! The home is even more beautiful in person. There has been a recent addition to the veranda in the back, perfect place to sit at the table for dinner. Absolutely stunning unobstructed views. The host was so very thoughtful and friendly. Thank you!!!

Peaceful, Beautiful View!

Welcomed by the host with tea and provisions, we had an excellent beginning to our stay in the Azores! The home is tastefully decorated, beds and pillows comfortable, kitchen well-stocked, and the outside garden areas are very inviting! The host gave recommendations for sites to see and restaurants to try. We loved the peaceful location and the views of the ocean from the yard. I would not hesitate to stay here again or to recommend this beautiful home!

Fun house with amazing sunsets

The house is very unique and there are nice touches that show the owner put a lot of thought into making sure guests have a great experience. The finishes throughout the house are high quality. The location was perfect - away from people but close enough to drive down to the town and beach, and the view is incredible. Sometimes it was hard to leave to house to go explore the island.

Portuguese Paradise!

Casa de Pilatos was beautiful! Mornings with coffee overlooking the ocean, or watching sunsets with a glass of wine - it was the perfect country house. Very peaceful and relaxing, the historic house was charming and spotlessly clean, with modern appliances and baths. We used it as a "home base" and ventured out (after breakfast on the outdoors picnic table every morning) to explore the beautiful island. Heavenly! Alexandra was the perfect host and immediately contacted us when we had a question. Best vacation ever!

Wonderful house

The house was spotless and retained the charm of an older house but with wonderful amenities like the master bath and comfortable beds. The swing was not pictured but a great surprise. The serenity and views exceptional. We had a flat tire the night before our very early flight and host responded and helped.

Spectacular Place!

Pictures do not do it justice! It's even better in real life! Three couples easily shared the quaint and cozy villa which was a great home base for our island adventures. Alexandra met us on arrival and was very responsive to our questions and minor hot water/pump issue that was easily (quickly) fixed. Will absolutely stay here again when we return! We had a fantastic time and loved everything about this home and the island!

Favorite Spot in the Azores

This home was my favorite spot in all of the Azores. The town of Mosteiros is charming and has incredible scenery. The views from Casa Pilatos are breathtaking. Drinking coffee overlooking the ocean every morning was a great way to start the day. This home is cozy, clean, and well appointed. It is located on top of a cliff overlooking the town, so be prepared for hikes and long walks up and down. You can also drive, but we liked the exercise! The host is responsive and our entire experience was exceptional.

Pilatos House

This rustic and historical house oozed the true feeling of living in the Azores. The narrow street kept it very private and quiet and the views were spectacular! The owners have provided a well equipped kitchen and house keeping equipment/ materials. The best part was we arrived late, in the dark, without time to purchase breakfast items, but we walked in and all was provided. It was heavenly! Alexandra did a wonderful job of communicating.💕

Amazing View!

This place is incredible! We stayed for the first four nights of our holiday, but I could have stayed a lot longer. I didn’t want to give up the view! We appreciated the food waiting for us when we arrived, and the house is even nicer than what you see in the photos. (I wasn’t sure what to make of the outdoor bathroom from the photos, but I kind of loved it.) It’s a bit of a drive from the airport but more than worth it for the house and surroundings.

Special stay in Mosteiros

We stayed for five nights and wished it was longer. The cottage was charming, quiet and the view was outstanding. Our hosts were helpful and as charming as the home. We felt as though we were staying in a well loved, special place.
