Hi, I fell in love with the Island of Lanzarote after several visits and I was lucky enough to be able to buy a holiday home there. I have owned the villa since 2006 and have furnished it to a high end modern taste. I regularly visit the villa to carry out maintenance and replace worn items. I have been very lucky to have had regular guests who have respected the villa very well. I know the island extremely well and can advise my guests on most aspects. I am very proud of all the lovely feedback i have had from guests, many of whom have returned to the the villa. I feel i can provide the personal touch having good contacts on the Island who help me out with the little extras that make a difference.
Dave purchased this Villa in 2006
Why Dave chose Playa Blanca
I chose Playa Blanca because of its ideal location with regard to beaches and tourist attractions. It is the more family orientated resort and has a very safe and relaxing feel to it. I love the new Marina Rubicon with its cafes and bars sitting on the waterfront. The beaches are fantastic in this area, the best on the island. It is not an overcrowded resort and unlike Puerto del Carmen when you go out at night you don't get hassled by anyone. It is very close to the national park and the backdrop of these volcanoes is breathtaking. It is ideally placed to catch the ferry across to Fuerteventura for island hoping. It is a very relaxed and safe resort and a lot of investment has gone into this resort to bring it to the beautiful standard it is today.
What makes this Villa unique
Mainly the independence of being able to do what you want when you want. There are no restrictions of when you eat or what time you can go in the pool. There is no fighting for a sunlounger and no sharing the pool with everyone else! Its walking distance from the town so you don't need to drive to restaurants and worry about who's going to drive! You can cater for yourselves in terms of food and drink so you can save money this way. We love having a BBQ in the evening and the quality of meat out there is fantastic. It's nice to be able to play your music and relax around the pool without an interruptions or noise. You don't have to get dressed to have a coffee in the morning, just flick the kettle on and watch the sunrise in your pajamas! The sun is over the pool all day, brill!
