This detached cottage is in the village of Solva near to St Davids and can sleep four people in three bedrooms.

Court House is a lovely detached cottage situated in the village of Solva just three miles from St Davids in Pembrokeshire. The cottage can sleep five people in one double bedroom and two singles as well as a family bathroom and ground floor cloakroom. Also in the cottage is a kitchen with dining area, dining room with woodburner and a sitting room and a conservatory. Outside is off road parking for three cars and a lawned garden with patio and furniture. Court House is a delightful cottage in a lovely part of the country.

Amenities: Gas central heating with woodburner. Electric oven, gas hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, washing machine, dishwasher, TV with FreeSat, DVD, CD/radio,WiFi, selection of books, games and DVDs. Fuel, power and starter pack for woodburner inc. in rent. Bed linen and towels inc. in rent, please bring own beach towels. Travel cot, highchair and stairgate. Off road parking for 3 cars. Private enclosed rear lawned garden with patio and furniture. Front lawned area. Two small well behaved dogs welcome. Sorry no smoking. Shop 1 mile, pubs, restaurants and coast 5 mins walk. Note: Gated exit in rear garden to river so children must be supervised. Note: Stone steps down to cottage from parking area. Note: Narrow stairs inside cottage with low beam above staircase. Note: Conservatory is accessed by external door. Note: Low front doorway, care should be taken.

Region: Famous for its choirs, stunning mountain ranges and beautiful valleys, this wonderful country has something for everyone. From Snowdonia in North Wales to the Brecon Beacons and the Pembrokeshire Coast in the South.

Town: A superb village around the water inlet where boats can be launched and walks along the dramatic coast path will be a delight any time of the year. This pretty little village may be small but offers friendly pubs serving good food, a fish and chip shop, quirky gift shops, art galleries and a superb woollen mill shop where special gifts can be bought to remember your stay in Wales.

Lovely property, great location

This is a lovely cottage with bags of character and appeal for 2-4 people. It has a garden, stream frontage and is on a quiet lane near Solva harbour. Beautiful and well equipped.

Very Disappointed.

To start on a positive note, the kitchen was well equipped and clean, the bathroom had a good shower (good water pressure) and the property was in a good location. However, we had many issues with the property:* The property can not be secured as downstairs front windows can't be locked - from the maintenance book in the property, this was first reported in February 2025. The owner has stated in the maintenance book that the windows are being replaced in the winter, but they should be fixed in the meantime.* Sounds of, presumably, rat activity in the loft at night (scratching, banging and gnawing) kept us awake. It got gradually worse as the week progressed to the point that we went home a night early.* The house was full of cobwebs (some full of flies indicating the length of time they had been there - I hoovered the walls and ceilings in the bedrooms).* The hand towel in the bathroom was stained both sides.* The shower curtain had mould stains on the bottom.* The bathroom blind was dirty/dusty.* One of the single beds is presumably broken as it's on a slant.* The towels smelt musty - I had to wash them.* Black mould in WC.* The garden is not as per the pictures on the website - it needs cutting back as the front path is unusable and the property is very dark. Pictures need updating as misleading.* Upstairs curtains need replacing as mildewed lining. This is the first time I have ever given a bad review as you generally expect a few issues.
