Why Elena Haluk chose Puako

Superb location - top notch restaurants, gorgeous beaches, superb hiking trails, thrilling water sports - all a few minutes' walk or a short drive away. All this combined with the perfect weather and the natural splendour of the Big Island creates an ideal vacation get away!

What makes this condo unique

Unlike other units in the Mauna Lani Point, the villa offers breathtaking views of the Hualalai mountain, the Mauna Kea mountain, the golf course as well as a gorgeous pond. The views from the lanai are truly spectacular. You will feel as if the whole world belongs to you alone.

Very comfortable condo

  • 5 of 5

The condo is beautiful but most important to me was the well stocked kitchen! I love to cook and the kitchen had everything I need. Also Elena was a great landlord. When the kitchen sink plugged up she immediately got someone on it. I would definitely stay here again. We had a great vacation.

Best unit ever at Mauna Lani Point

  • 5 of 5

My husband and I have stayed at Mauna Lani Point numerous times, so we already knew that the property offered a wonderful snorkeling beach, gourmet dining, shoreline hiking, great golf and beautifully maintained grounds -- all right at our fingertips. Dancing Dolphins is probably the best equipped unit we've stayed in, with all sorts of beach equipment and big towels, a well-equipped kitchen, very comfortable furnishings, etc. The place has a wonderful airy feeling and is very nicely decorated and maintained. It's got a real Hawaii feel to it with sweeping views of the golf course, lagoon and mountains. (MUCH more interesting view, in our opinion, than the more costly ocean-view units.) Elena was very responsive when we had questions. We will definitely stay here again.

Peaceful getaway

  • 5 of 5

My husband and I finished our Hawaiian vacation by staying here to relax and slow down after all the sight seeing we had done previously. It was perfect. Very clean, comfortable, and beautiful. The view of the golf course and mountains was a great way to start the day. The lanai was large, private, and very inviting. I do agree with some of the other reviewers that the next "appliance" purchase should be a coffee grinder, considering the local coffee industry, but we were fine without it. If we get the opportunity to go back to the big island, we will most certainly plan to stay here again. Thank you very much, Elena!

Perfect and relaxing, with awesome views of the golf course.

  • 5 of 5

My husband and I were looking forward to having a relaxing "stay-cation." We live on the Big Island and his 75th b-day was coming up. We were going to stay at the Mauna Lani Hotel but decided to check out some condos instead. Since we are familiar with the Point and the amenities there and saw the August special on this particular condo, we decided to book it. So, off go the dogs to camp, bye bye, and what a nice surprise to find out that this condo is an end unit, facing south protected from the trade winds! This unit has expansive views of the golf course, Hualalai and two ponds. We saw Nene geese grazing which is a treat since they are an endangered species. (Someone mentioned "looking at Mauna Kea" in a review but it is Hualalai, one would be facing East to view Mauna Kea and nose into the trade winds.)

We loved the Beach Club access. Snorkeling is wonderful at this beach cove. Where a lot of coral has been damaged or "bleached" from warmer ocean temps., this area still has coral in reddish pink, yellow and blue; which means more fish to see. I loved going to the beach early in the morning and leaving around noon time when it got crowded. (But not as crowded as mainland standards..thinking NJ shore or OC, MD.)

Dinner and sunset at the Canoe House was perfect. Having coffee in the morning and sitting on the lanai watching the warm glow of the sunrise on the palm trees and golf course was awesome.

I would highly recommend this condo and will book it again in the future.
