Cable TV and internet included. Master bath shower is open -- perfect for someone wheelchair-bound. Great for seniors and retirees. Full stocked for the beach with beach towels, chairs and a cooler. Oh, yeah... And it's right in the heart of Kailua-Kona. All that's missing is you for the perfect vacation!

About Linda and Tom Dreher

We are two lovely people from So Cal who met in junior high, stayed friends through high school, and married 30 years later. We've dreamed of moving to Kona, and knew this was the place for us when we spent only 10 minutes at the DMV and got our Hawaii licences. Literally just 10 minutes! The day-by-day the dream of being full-time Kama'ainas became a reality in 2017. We purchased a few of properties in the Kona area over the years, and now we are permanent residents.

Why Linda and Tom Dreher chose Kailua-Kona

We love Kona Pacific so much we bought there twice! So close to town, but just far enough you don't deal with downtown traffic. A beautiful 1 bedroom condo with TWO bathrooms. The lanai is to die, and it's right off Ali'i Drive and steps away from 10 restaurants. You don't even need to rent a car if you don't want. Also, there's elevators all over the property so easy in or out of the unit. Great for Seniors or families with small children.

What makes this condo unique

Two people can take a shower at the same time. Where are you going to find that? This unit easily sleeps the maximum capacity of 4 people (that's the max, house and HOA rules). Queen bed master (soon to morph into a King), and a Full sofa sleeper. Electronic lock so you don't need a key to get into the unit, just type in the code. Elevators everywhere. Great for seniors and retirees. Charming Lanai where you have a sunrise breakfast or mai tais and sunset. Only 1/2 block from town, so you can walk to 20 different restaurant and too many shops to count. Walk to Honl Beach and Kona Pier easily.

Clean, quiet, great location

Absolutely loved our time here! Fully equipped with everything we could hope for from kitchen to beach chairs. And close enough to everything to walk. Thank you for a great home-away-from-home!

We make sure that you have everything you need for your vacation so that you don't have to worry about beach towels, chairs, etc. And we make sure the kitchen is dinner ready to make whatever you want to eat. This is a great apartment with great location. Minutes away from shops and restaurants.

Appartment is in great shape, designed and decorated to give you vacation vibe, yet it makes you feel at home and safe. Appartment building is also in great shape and well maintained. Location is perfect - 5 minute walk separates you from Kona shops and restaurants. The pool area is large and clean but we did not use it (we preferred beaches). There were enough towels and sheets, kitchen had everything.

One thing we appreciate the most is the beach gear. Umbrella, chairs, mats, cooler......really came handy and saved us money. If we did not have it, rental is about $10 a day per item.

Linda and Tom provided us with activities guide before our arrival. They also accommodated us with late check out since our flight was late at night.

Thank you Linda and Tom, we really enjoyed our stay.

Comfortable & Convenient

My husband & i were in Kona for IM. This condo was perfect for us. It was quiet, comfortable, had everything we needed, and was a great location. We could easily walk to everything race related and became regulars at Huggos on the Rocks :) The bed was comfortable (always a concern of mine when staying at VRBOs & airbnbs) and we were able to do the minimal amount of cooking we needed to do with what is provided in the kitchen. We would certainly recommend this as a place to stay! Mahalo Linda & Tom!

Perfect location, amenities and decor

This condo is wonderful! My husband and I spent 6 nights here and could have stayed longer!

Linda has stocked this condo to be your home away from home. We did a lot of cooking at the place and had all the pots and pans and utensils we needed. (The knives need to be sharpened.) And, she provided ice packs, a cooler and Tupperware. We were able to load up for the day and head out to explore.

The condo is fully stocked for your beach activities as well. The beach towels are big and plush and were well used after snorkeling.

The biggest perk for us were the two bathrooms. We were able to make one the drying/staging area for all the water sports and keep the other clean and for normal bathroom use. We loved that!

The condo is walking distance to downtown Kona and a plethora of food, shops and activities.

Great place to stay!

We stayed here from April 17-28, 2017. It was exactly as described and a great place to stay. The 3 of us were very comfortable in this spacious unit and the huge lanai was a wonderful place to spend time when we weren't out and about. Linda and Tom have done an excellent job providing everything one needs to feel at home. The location was so convenient to restaurants, coffee shops and shopping. We discovered Huggo's on our first morning and had a delicious breakfast there. This was our first time to Hawaii and we were happy we chose the big island. There was lots to see and do. We have walked over to a number of restaurants for breakfast, lunch and dinner from the building. Love stick our toes in the sand at Huggos on the Rocks.
