About the property

Best in Riverside Lodging on the Yellowstone River Cozy Cabin with bedroom loft.

Montana, 'come for a week, stay for a lifetime'. From the time you walk through the front door of your cozy Montana cabin you will immediately feel at home. As you walk through the door, your eyes are immediately drawn to the river flowing just outside the large view windows which open up to a breathtaking view of the river and surrounding mountains.

The Kitchen is just to the right with all the amenities you will need for your stay. The bathroom is directly across from the kitchen with a shower/tub ensemble. The tub is jetted for those relaxing soaks at the end of a long day hiking. There is a stackable washer/ dryer set up for your convenience.

The living room is small but very comfortable with a queen size sofa sleeper and a comfortable oversized chair . There is a small dinning table for two/three and two barstools seated at the counter for additional seating. There is a wood burning stove for those chilly evenings or romantic firelight nights.

The master bedroom is an open loft with jawdropping views of the river and mountains below. The entire back side of the cabin that faces the river is large view windows allowing for that open to nature feeling.

While the Cabin is perfectly set up for couples and romantic getaways, it is just a comfortable for a small family, small group of fishermen, or two close knit couples.

Why Megan Truzinski and DeeDee Truzinski chose Yellowstone Country

We bought this property because we feel in love with the location. We actually reside on the 5 acre parcel in the log cabin just next to the Montana Fishing Cabin. While the homes are only separated by a short distance, the homes are set up perfectly for individual privacy.

What makes this cabin unique

This cabin is Montana perfect! Its small, but cozy with plenty of living space. The views are 'to die for', to quote a few of our guests. There is an outdoor firepit, picnic table and a large deck with two lounge chairs and two chairs with a table for outside dinning.

Tranquil and relaxing!

  • 5 of 5

Lovely extra touches that are in the cabin made us feel extra special. It is quiet and comfortable (especially the bed) and had everything we may have needed and more. The brownies were a treat when we arrived and being able to wash some clothes before we moved on to our next destination was a bonus. Very private and tranquil! Would stay again in a heart beat! Thanks!

Cozy & Comfortable!

  • 5 of 5

The Paradise Valley Fishing Cabin was the perfect get-a-way for our Montana honeymoon! The views of the Yellowstone River, adjacent mountain ranges, and plethora of wildlife were spectacular to see whether from the back deck, living room, or upstairs loft. The furnishings were comfortable and it was so nice to have basic necessities stocked---everything from cooking essentials to laundry detergent and soap were provided. We can't wait to come back! Thank you DeeDee and David for your wonderful hospitality!

Couldn't be Better

  • 5 of 5

We have stayed in many private homes in different locations over the years. This is one of our favorites. The view is stunning when you walk in. We called it our River TV and it was always on, day and night, viewable from the main living area downstairs and from the bedroom loft. DeeDee, one of the owners, has this place stocked to the max. Everything you could want is available. Her thoughtfulness is apparent in every aspect of this charming house. Extra towels, blankets, hiking books, books about local history, shampoo, soap, etc. Someone mentioned it's far away from're in Montana folks. It's a about a 20 minute drive to food and restaurants (max)...but what it's super close to is outstanding hiking, fishing, horseback riding, sunset views, nature viewing, etc. If you were too lazy to stop at Albertson's on your way in (like we were), never fear, because the first morning DeeDee has got you covered. Orange juice, coffee, pancake mix, cereal, and oatmeal for breakfast. Waters and snack bars if you are headed out on a hike. After that, the Emigrant general store down the road has tons of other things to tide you over (and more). The back porch is lovely, set up with lounge chairs to view the river, stars, and deer that pass through the yard to enjoy the salt lick and tasty grass. Other nice amenities include a cooler, laundry and wifi. If you're seeking peace, relaxation and the beauty of Montana, you will find it here. Thank you Dave, DeeDee, and Meghan for a fantastic stay. Looking forward to next year.

We have stayed in many vacation homes over the years and this one was one of the cleanest and best outfitted. You are treated more like visiting family than strangers in somebody else's house. The location cannot be beat and the owners (next door neighbor ) are awesome. We already booked it again for next year.

We chose this house for our honeymoon, and couldn't have asked for more. We were looking for a nice quiet week and got exactly that. It was days of perfect sunsets, grilling on the porch, and wonderful views. Our host were great, tho I never met them. But that may have been the point, they allowed us all the privacy in the world, and delivered on all that was promised. If you pick this house , there is a Robin that lives to the right of the porch, his name is Bon Jovi due to a large scare on his chest, he will be there with you every afternoon. Also there is a prairie dog under the stump in the driveway, his name is Henry, he will play hide and go seek with you on nice quiet walks down the lane. If you go you have to go to Dailey Lake, it's only 10 min away and early in the week it is like a Bob Ross painting, but busy on the weekend. It's also a quick 30 min drive to Yellowstone. And it is well worth it, the park is hectic and crowded, and it is so nice to return home to your own little sanctuary. I know there are things I'm leaving out but they are all positive I'm sure. Pick this property and you will be nothing but happy!
