Central location: 2 metro stops from Termini Station, 4 stops from Coliseum. Charming apartment, 6th floor with lift and a large terrace overlooking the mountains near Rome (pre-Appennini). It can accommodate up to 3 people. It also has heating, air conditioning and TV.
This lovely apartment is very sunny as it is located on the 6th floor in a quiet street next to Policlinico Umberto 1 and the University La Sapienza. It offers a quiet stay not far from the city Center. From the terrace of the flat you can enjoy the view while taking your breakfast or having a sunny morning stretch. There are wooden floors. The apartment has one lounge (with a sofa bed for 1 person, a small table and a TV) and one bedroom with a small-double bed (120cm -190cm = 4' 0" x 6' 3") and a wardrobe. Both rooms have access to the terrace. There is also one bathroom and a fully equipped kitchen.
Rome is a small town and my friends who have stayed at the flat enjoyed exploring Rome on foot. From the flat you can take a nice 30 minutes walk to Villa Borghese, the third largest park in the city, perched over the hills with breathtaking views over Rome. The Galleria Borghese offers a collection of paintings by Caravaggio, Tiziano and Raffaello.
If you want to take a walk or go jogging in the mornings the area is very green with park Villa Torlonia only 10 minutes away. There is a lovely Sardinian restaurant "Su Nuraghe" right next to the flat. The area offers plenty of choice of local cafes, shops and a indoor market in Via Catania (5 minutes walk) where you can buy fresh fruits and vegetable, meat and fish at a reasonable price. The market is open from Monday to Saturday from 7am to 3pm.
And if you have time for a swim or a tan you can get to the sea (Ostia) in an hour by train! Explore the Roman ruins in Ostia Antica an hour hike from the beach through the Natural Reserve of the Litorale Romano.
