Beau chalet amical animal de compagnie sur le bord du district du lac

High Thorn Farm est un endroit isolé pour profiter du paysage local. Vous pourrez vous détendre sur les berges de notre étang naturel sauvage ou vous installer chez vous dans l'un de nos luxueux chalets de ferme. Nos chalets élégants ont été récemment rénovés et entiÚrement modernisés.
Le Corn Store est un gĂźte spacieux et accueillant de deux chambres, fini Ă  un haut niveau dans un style campagnard classique.
High Thorn Farm est une petite ferme en activité familiale. Nos chalets sont situés à cÎté de la ferme, mais sont dans leur propre terrain avec entrée séparée. Nous espérons que cette propriété rendra vos vacances vraiment inoubliables. Le Corn Store est unique et original, débordant de charme et de classe ancienne.
Porche - Grand espace pour les manteaux, les bottes, etc. Des installations de stockage supplĂ©mentaires sont disponibles pour vos vĂ©los, vos engins de pĂȘche, vos selles et tout ce que vous dĂ©sirez emporter avec nos compliments.

Wunderschönes gerĂ€umiges Haus mit alten Möbeln im englischen Stil. Große praktische KĂŒche. Der SchlĂŒssel ist in einem Kasten mit Zahlenschloss. Es sind stĂ€ndig Tiere ums Haus - die Pfauen sind stimmgewaltiger als die HĂ€hne und die Ziegen.Die Lage ist traumhaft, mitten in den HĂŒgeln zwischen den Schaf- und Rinderweiden. Die Einkaufsmöglichkeiten in Kendal sind ca. 5km entfernt. Sowohl Lake Distrikt als auch Yorkshire Dales ist gut zu erreichen.

Wonderful cottage and scenery

Loved our stay at The Corn Store, check in was easy and straight forward, and the host (Kate) was on hand to answer any questions if needed. The cottage is spacious and cleverly arranged, with the lounge on the upper floor to take advantage of the beautiful views and farm animals (keep an eye out for the Peacocks). The location was great and close to Scafell Pike, Kendal and Windermere for sightseeing, supplies and walks in nature. We felt that everything was provided in the cottage for a break in the Lake District with adults, Kids and a dog well catered for (Space, peace and Wifi), and would highly recommend this cottage.

Absolutely faultless

Gorgeous location, rural and very tranquil. The view from the lounge balcony is lovely. The property is spacious and very well equipped and spotlessly clean. Kendal is just a short drive away and the routes to the lakeside towns and coast were straightforward. Loved it so much that I stayed an extra night!

Wonderful location a few miles outside Kendal in this beautiful cottage on a farm.

The facilties in Kitchen and bathrooms were good. It was very clean and looked very inviting as we arrived. We are seniors we found the lounge seating and very low and hard to relax in the seating , the mattress’s were very uncomfortable, we all exprienced back ache and sleeping issues. Definetly need changing. This was our only disappointment!

This is a wonderful cottage in a beautiful location. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, lots of walking, breathtaking scenery, trips to seaside and Lakes. Conveniently close to Kendal.The cottage was perfect, beautifully finished and has everything you could need .

Beautiful views and relaxing location

The house was immaculately clean and well presented. We loved waking up, throwing open the doors and taking in the views before climbing upstairs and having made our morning cuppa venturing out onto the balcony to watch the farm and wildlife coming to life. The kitchen was well stocked with everything you need to make a meal. We did find the fridge a little small and the lack of a freezer could be a hindrance if you were intending to cook a lot. Perhaps a family fridge/freezer to the right of the kitchen might be a suggestion. The pictures of the property indicate that perhaps it is a little more secluded than it actually is but It was so relaxing and just what we needed.

Away from the crowds

Such a perfect location to get away from the bustling crowds if you are like us and don’t mind a few side trips into the Lake District, but ultimately are looking for scenic views and quiet countryside. The hosts are really lovely and the space inside the Corn Store is very roomy and comfortable. We can’t wait to come back!

Beautiful location

Beautiful location, stunning views and the property itself was excellent, just not what I had paid for. I believe I have been overcharged as I booked the granary which was bigger but I was placed in the corn store. It is not clear on the website that there are 2 properties in the picture you advertise and so it was a shock when I turned up and there were people already there. Luckily we are very active and stayed out all day, hiking etc but if I had booked the accommodation to relax without strangers around I would not have been best pleased

A lovely cosy retreat

We had a lovely stay in this cosy cottage. The facilities are great with everything you could need within a traditional well appointed space. The location is great and feels isolated but is within easy reach of Kendal. We will definitely visit again!
