Great family week in Silves

Great villa. Super layout, with ensuite rooms for large families. Really well equipped kitchen. Superb pool area. Only disappointment was no pool table or real gym.

Our host was very responsive to requests. The house is in a nice location on the north end of Silves. Easy walking distance to restaurants, grocery, pharmacy. The pool is excellent. The temperature was perfect. The laundry facilities are useable but do need a bit of upgrading/fixing and I think that is being addressed. The house with all the bedrooms and bathrooms is fantastic for all eight of us older guys. One thing we would have liked is a newer BBQ. Overall, this is a wonderful vacation home that I hope we will be able to rent again next year.

We stayed here with 3 other families, with ages 1-7 years. The communication was brilliant, we paid extra for the swimming pool to be heated and the kids spent so much time in the pool! Some of the rooms are.a bi

Cool respite in Silves.

Does what it says. All bedrooms with AC were a blessing when the temperatures were oppressive. Any problems were quickly resolved by the host and staff. A very enjoyable stay .

Great place

We had a brilliant time. The property was clean and spacious. The pool was fantastic - enjoyed by children and adults alike. There was room for people to have their own space as well as lots of different social spaces. Silves was close enough and had a range of places to eat as well as things to look at. It all had a great feel. A car is necessary to see Portimao - can recommend the boat trip. All in all, we'd recommend and would think of doing it again.

Excellent property well equipped for groups

We were very impressed with the property. Each bedroom had its own bathroom which is essential when you are a big group. The villa felt very secure. The pool is a good size and the kitchen near the pool is good for keeping refreshments. The main kitchen was very well equipped with everything you need and the large cooking pots made it easy to cater for the group. The tables both outside and inside enabled the group to sit together. The sun terrace was great for getting some peace and quiet and sitting in the evening. The villa is well located a short walk from Silves which is a lovely town with lots of facilities. Also easy access to lots of other towns and beaches. The host met us when we arrived and checked in during the week. The family we travelled with had stayed in the villa before and we would definitely recommend it again.

Een heerlijk huis voor onze groep vrienden. Grote plus is dat er bij elke slaapkamer (9 in totaal) een eigen badkamer zit! Keuken is heel goed ingericht, met echt alles wat je nodig hebt als je zelf ook wilt koken voor een grote groep. Prijs kwaliteit is echt heel goed!

Séjour à Silves

Silves est une ville sympathique avec un joli chateau et des commerces à proximité. La maison d'Edouardo est bien et mériterait quelques aménagements pour être au top. Precision le logement est sur un terrain partagé avec d'autres loactions et personnes faisant des va et vient. Je ne sais pas si cela est précisé dans l'annonce.

La maison est dans une propriété qui est une exploitation agricole aussi. Bien que tout soit automatisé il y a des taches qui demandent de temps à autre l’intervention du personnel. Ils passent sur la route vers les points techniques qui sont loin de cette maison. Le seul personnel qui s’ approche est celui de la manutention des piscines et des jardins. Je tiens à souligner aussi qu’ il y a d’autres maisons mais à part une petite les autres sont à des centaines de mètres de cette maison et ont une entrée alternative différente bien loin.

Les plus : Disponibilité des propriétaires. Mise a disposition d'une cuisinière avec supplément. Volumes de la maison. Orangeraie a disposition. Les moins : Donne sur route passante. Ménage moyen. Mobilier dont la salle de sport vieillissant. Eau de piscine trouble. Canalisations bouchées au bout de 2 jours dans les salles de bains du rdc. Maison qui fait le job pour famille nombreuse mais le rapport qualité/prix est élevé pour les prestations. Néanmoins nous avons été bien accueilli par des propriétaires sympathiques et disponibles.

Nous avons été étonnés de votre notation. Nous essayons toujours de résoudre au mieux quelque problème que se soit. L’eau trouble se doit à l’utilisation intensive de la piscine avec beaucoup de sauts. L’eau doit reposer. Le problème des salles de bain est normalement très simple à résoudre dès que nous sommes informés ( excès de cheveux). Quant à la salle de sport la plupart des équipements sont récents mais peut-être que son utilisation est trop intensive. Nous prenons bonne note. Nous essayons de faire mieux grâce à vos opinions.

Très bon séjour en famille !

Points positifs : Très belle villa avec grande piscine, à deux pas des commerces, parfait pour un séjour en famille ou entre amis. Jus d’orange frais tous les matins grâce à l’orangeraie juste à côté Points négatifs : Piscine « apparemment » chauffée, mais il fallait demander au gérant car la pompe à chaleur était éteinte à notre arrivée, dans notre cas nous en avons été informés au moment de notre départ, vraiment dommage de ne pas en avoir été informés plus tôt, car la chaleur n’était pas au RDV durant notre séjour.

L’annonce indique qu’il est possible de chauffer sur demande. Certains clients ne veulent pas le chauffage de la piscine. Je sais que au début de la semaine il faisait plus chaud . Le temps était moyen et le vent n’aide pas. Vous auriez pu dire qu’il faisait un peu froid.. Nous aurions agit d’immédiat.

heerlijke week in portugal

We hebben een heerlijke week gehad in Silves. Het huis is echt netjes en het was superfijn dat elke slaapkamer een badkamer erbij had met goed werkende douches/ bad. Zwembad was fantastisch en werd ook regelmatig nog schoongemaakt. Meubilair en speeltoestellen buiten zouden wat opgeknapt/ vervangen mogen worden. Prijs/kwaliteitverhouding is zeer goed

Vacances géniales à Silves

La maison est vraiment adaptée pour les grandes familles ou groupes d’amis. Salle de bain dans chaque chambre, deux cuisines, grandes tables extérieures et intérieures, 2 barbecues… Les propriétaires sont attentifs à nos demandes et très sympathiques. Nous avons tous passé de très bonnes vacances dans cette belle propriété. Petit bémol pour la salle de sport pour laquelle il faudrait réinvestir dans quelques appareils sportifs (tapis de course, vélo, stepper). La conclusion est que nous reviendrons certainement dans cette propriété lors de notre prochain séjour dans l’Algarve.

A recommander dans l'ensemble

Bonne location, maison tres bien équipée mais beaucoup de petits problèmes (poignées de portes, persienne, interrupteurs, flexibles et portes de douche) necessitent des réparations urgentes. Beaucoup de points positifs, une salle de bains pour chaque chambre, la proximité de Silves, la grande piscine, le coin repas tres sympa nous ont permis de passer d'excellentes vacances.
