Sweet and tidy townhouse with a little garden, free nearby parking, all needed amenities and, best of all, a hop, skip and a jump away from the beach!

An Ideal Place to Stay on the Beaches

Before our visit, our host answered all of our questions. During our stay, they were exceedingly helpful and in touch. They take great care & pride in their villa, and rightly so. The furnishings were comfortable & decor exquisite. The village is close to several great restaurants and to D-Day historic sites, with a charming church and sometimes fresh produce vendor right across the street.

I'm so glad we chose this property! Our family wanted 5 nights in Normandy, and we really had no idea where we should stay to see all the cities we wanted to hit (Rouen-1hr45, Caen-20min, Bayeux-40min, Mont-Saint-Michel-1hr45, Pointe du Hoc-1hr20). It was perfection! Lion-sur-Mer is an exceptionally quiet town where we could sleep with the windows open and not hear drunk revelers all night. The townhouse is close to a pretty good bakery, a grocery store (Contact) with nice wine selection and local pate sausage with mushrooms at the butcher counter they were more than happy to let us sample. There is a beautiful church across the street with bells that toll. The couch was cozy, wifi good (not as strong on the 3rd floor), the kitchen had plenty of cooking pots and food basics (salt, oil, tea, sugar, coffee pods-Senseo, spices). The bathtub was clean! My children really enjoyed this, and the hot water was ample and abundant! One bit of feedback would be directions for how things work and where they are. We found the washing machine behind a door in the fence/wall in the backyard. We never quite figured out the cycles because everything was soaking wet when done, but we didnt ask for help. The drying rack and towel warmer were great, though. Also, operating the oven was a guess, but it cooked well for our dinners. Overall, the beds were cozy and the temperature perfect for our September stay. We were never hot. We have such incredible memories we'll never forget!

Cute house….. but

The house and yard were adorable. Cute town, close to beach and good restaurants. 1 hour from Normandy beaches. The host was nice and easy to talk with. However; they tried to charge us for making the beds and cleaning…. Asking us to leave extra money. We did not leave any. It felt a little dishonest….

A 200 mètres de la plage

Appartement très bien situé, avec petit jardin ombragé dans un endroit calme. Il y a tout ce qu'il faut pour passer de bonnes vacances. Des restos de qualité et à des prix raisonnables, une boulangerie, un bar PMU, une superette etc... et une très belle plage en pente douce avec du sable fin à 200m à pieds. Tout était parfait

Wunderschöner Urlaub

Mit viel Liebe und Geschmack eingerichtetes Häuschen. Die drei Stockwerke erlauben jeder Generation ihren Rückzugsort. Der süße Garten bietet die Möglichkeit, den Abend ruhig ausklingen zu lassen. Sehr nette Vermieter! Sehr sauberes Haus. Sehr gute Bäckerei zwei Häuser weiter, in vier langsam geschlenderten Minuten ist man am tollen Strand.

Tout simplement parfait !

La propriétaire est adorable, disponible et arrangeante. La maison est très bien (récemment rénovée) : il y a tout le nécessaire pour passer un bon séjour. En plus, il y a un jardin derrière et une petite cour devant. Cerise sur le gâteau, la maison est très bien située, à 5 min à pied de la plage, dans un village très sympathique. La région est tellement riche : lieux de mémoire du Débarquement, réserves ornithologiques, entre autres ! On reviendra !

Très agréable maison de ville! Seul bémol les frais de ménage fin de séjour/absence de draps

Très jolie petite maison de ville, très bien agencée et équipée, tout en hauteur, avec un jardin charmant fleuri avec sa terrasse extérieure! Décorée avec bcp de goût, à proximité immédiate des commerces, et au bord de mer! Emplacement top! Seuls bémols l’absence de draps qui alourdit grandement les valises et la logistique des vacances. Ménage à faire en fin de séjour alors qu’il est compris dans les frais Abritel…pas agréable lorsqu’on laisse déjà tout bien rangé et qu’on repart avec ses draps à laver. Neanmoins, nous gardons un très bon souvenir de notre séjour en Normandie et recommandons l’adresse.

Agréable séjour dans la location de Céline. Accueil sympathique. Logement bien placé avec parking facile et joli jardin. Il faut noter toutefois un escalier raide pour monter dans les chambres. Ne convient pas pour les personnes à mobilité réduite.

très bon séjur

Nous avons été reçus chaleureusement par la propriétaire très souriante et disponible. La maison est encore plus belle que sur les photos. Très propre, claire et fonctionnelle. Elle est très bien située : proche de tous commerces et de la mer. Je recommande cette location.
