Memories for a lifetime
We took our parents and our two twenty something children on this trip. The Earlson Farmhouse was definitely amazing. Dan and Anne are the most hospitable hosts. So kind to have the fridge with drinks, basics for breakfast, bread and tarts awaiting our arrival. Short drives to lovely villages an Dan had great recommendations for our outings. So special to come home and find a cake for my mom as we were celebrating her 73rd birthday. Could not have asked for a better place to make memories. Thank you Dan and Anne for a memorable experience. If ever in California.... or the grandkids and they need assistance or travel advise, please reach out. Would love to return the favor.
Dear Veralyn and Paul, Thank you so much for thinking of us... It was our pleasure to have you stay here with us and are so delighted you had such a wonderful time with fond memories... we wish you all the best and special greetings to your Mom...

The Perfect Farmhouse
The Earlson Farmhouse is such a wonderful place to stay. The location is beautiful and the home is well equipped with anything you might need. Anne and Dan are a lovely couple who make you feel welcome and at home. They even left us wonderful food items, so we didn’t have to rush out to get groceries.
Sadie greeted us every morning and evening. There’s nothing like coming back after a fun filled day in Ireland to such a sweet dog. I would highly recommend this wonderful home.
Couldn't ask for a better stay...
First let me say that Anne and Dan are the most fantastic hosts. Right from the start they made us feel welcome and at home. There was delicious bread and food awaiting us as well as one of the most wonderful and welcoming dogs, Sadie, who was also awaiting us. Anne and Dan provided us with information and insight into the local scene in regards to restaurants and attractions and pointed us to quite a few 'hidden gems'. We were not let down.
The house was fantastic and a wonderful place to relax after a day of running around Ireland. The place was clean and comfortable and definitely had the feel of home away from home. A rare find. I must say the night my family sat around the fireplace and talked was one of the best nights we had.
So we have a wonderful host family and a wonderful house. What could possibly make it better? The location. The farm was so peaceful and the scene was the best one could ask for. The sunrises and sunsets were wonderful to watch and sip a nice drink while doing so. Even our three kids commented about how quiet and peaceful it was. The location is also amazing in that it is roughly 10 minutes from Adare. A picture perfect Irish town with a myriad of things to do for everyone of all ages. Not to mention all the other attractions within an hour's drive...
The point of this review is to say that I would definitely stay here again and will definitely be recommending it to family and friends. This place and most importantly, the hosts, made my family's trip perfect.
Thank you Dan and Anne. My family hopes to visit you again!
Dear Steve and Jennifer, Thank you for being such gracious guests and we look forward to welcoming you here again... We very much appreciate you taking the time to send us your thoughts...
All the best,
Dan and Anne & Sadie
Absolutely delightful and perfect!!
The property is amazing and quite charming. But unequaled to our other experiences in Ireland is the hospitality of Anne and Dan. They are quite nice and genuine people. These are great people who we immediately were drawn to. They are amazing!! Sadie is also a great host! If you are looking for a perfect experience this is it!! Our family will remember this experience for a lifetime. I want to go back already.
Warm and welcoming Irish farmhouse in a beautifully setting
An Irish farmhouse in a beautifully setting. History and guidance to surrounding area by our hosts. Perfect location to see so many of Irelands wonderful sites. The home itself was roomy, modern and lovely, a home away from home. Dan, Anne and Sadie are simply delightful. The time went to quickly.
Classic property well maintained and helpful hosts
We were a group of three couples in Ireland as tourists. This house was perfect with three good size bedrooms and three full baths. The kitchen is recently updated with above average china, a dishwasher, microwave and refrigerator. The hosts are also way above average: friendly, helpful (advice on nearby sites), and intelligent. They live in a second house on the same property so that makes them accessible. The house is in a good location very close to Adare. Dan even made a fire for us each night that required only lighting with a match. We are already talking about returning. Five rooms downstairs provide room for individual reading or games. Fantastic vista. Paul and Mary, USA
Earlson Farmhouse is set in an ideal location for exploring the South West. The picturesque Adare village is only a 7 minute drive from the house. Within a 20 minute drive you can explore the Medieval city of Limerick rich with Museums, King Johns Castle. Foynes Flying Boat Museum is only a 20 minute drive. If you wish to golf we are within an hours drive of some of the best championship golf course in the world including Ballybunion, Lahinch, Doonbeg and Adare Manor. The beautiful village of Adare is on our doorstep along with some wonderful small villages to explore in the area. Enjoy the stunning rolling hills of the Irish countryside.
