Dan and Anne were wonderful hosts. And their dog Sadie was an added bonus.Accommodations were extremely comfortable and the host checked in with us occasionally make sure we had a good sense of what to visit and what to plan for. Their guidance was truly appreciated. This is conceivably one of the best vacation stays we have experienced.

We loved the house and the property. Spacious, wonderful views and Dan and Anne made sure to touch base each day to see if there might be something we needed. I particularly enjoyed reading in the front room with lots of light coming through and having a wood fire going one of the evenings. We made several meals at the house in addition to eating out as we explored. We highly recommend a stay.

Thank you for a wonderful stay. Recommended. Lovely farmhouse and great location. Very welcoming hosts and generously left us food to eat on our (late) arrival. Local hill and forest walk was great. Castles at Bungarry and King John's in Limerick Limerick Treaty City Brewery.

A little bit of heaven in Adare. Two grandparents, two parents, a 12- and 14-year old shared this beautiful renovated farmhouse with plenty of room on the most beautiful grounds. So comfortable! Hosts were wonderful and so helpful, and the sweetest dog on the premises!

The hosts were very helpful with regards to helping us decide what to see and where to go. They also took the time to fill us in on the history of the farmhouse, which was very interesting. The house was spacious and the grounds were beautiful. However, we were a little disappointed that we couldn't walk to the locales that were indicated in the VRBO ad.

The house is comfortable, the property is gorgeous and peaceful, and the hosts are absolutely fantastic. The house is exactly as described in the listing. Kitchen, sitting room, living room and one bathroom on the first floor, then 3 comfortable bedrooms and 2 bathrooms on the second floor. It is a historic property so expect some quirks, but it's clean, well maintained, and has all the modern conveniences (hot shower, working tv, modern kitchen, etc). It is out in the country a bit so you'll probably want your own vehicle. But the property is gorgeous and a pleasant, peaceful place to hang out - often in the company of the very sweet resident dog, Sadie. But what really made the stay amazing was the hosts, who live next door and went way above and beyond to make our stay was smooth and enjoyable. Anne stocked the kitchen for us, gave us sightseeing tips and checked in frequently without hovering or invading "our" space. I definitely recommend this property and we will absolutely stay there again if we ever make it back to Ireland! We may even make a special trip just to stay there :)

Perfect place for a family vacation....plenty of space to spread out and a warm, homey place to hang out together in the evening. Hosts are spectacular- easy communications, near to the property if needed, and checked in with us to be sure everything was going according to plan. Highly recommend!

Wonderful stay

We had a wonderful stay at Earlson Farmhouse. Anne and Dan went above and beyond with their hospitality. The beds were comfortable and the location was great for day trips exploring Ireland. The farm house was well equipped. We also enjoyed Sadie the dog greeting us after our adventures.

Wonderful stay in a lovely location!

Anne & Dan were wonderful hosts! Friendly and welcoming and a great source of local knowledge! Their sweet dog Sadie was the perfect companion for walks around the hills! The 300 year-old farmhouse was a perfect base to explore all of west Ireland. We miss it already!!

Wonderful stay

The house was perfect for our stay and Anne and Dan were wonderful hosts. We were in the house a lot and we had everything we needed for a very comfortable stay. The kitchen is very well equipped and had everything we needed to be able to cook meals. All of the rooms were very comfortable and homely with lots of books about Limerick and Ireland. We would definitely recommend and hope to stay again.

Wonderful Stay

This lovely farmhouse and the magnificent surrounding are amazing. To be around all this beauty is incredible including the views from inside. This was definitely our favorite stay during our 3 week trip. Ann & Dan are wonderful and made sure we were had everything we needed. Our only regret is that we couldn’t stay longer but we’re hoping to return someday.

Just Perfect

Ann & Dan plus their dog Sadie are the perfect hosts in a perfect setting. The quiet country side is the ideal homebase to unwind after a day of adventuring. A quick 15 min drive to town and centrally located to all western Ireland has to offer.
