Owner info

Why the Owner Chose Reading, VT, USA:
This cabin has been beloved by our family for many years. It is the perfect retreat from the worries of the world. In the summer, surrender to the rocking chairs on the front porch and watch the bluebirds and swallows dart across the field, swim in the cool pond, wander in the meadow, and hike the peak. The fall foliage paints the valley walls flames of orange and red and yellow. In the winter, cross country ski or snowshoe across the meadow to the lighted house and blazing hearth. Ski Killington or Okemo or Suicide Six, shop Woodstock's array of unique shops, eat at Keepers or Simon Pierce. Park your cares by the fire and stay awhile.
