Azay-Le-Rideau, on the banks of the Indre, come and relax in a family home of the 1900s. Experience the peace of this house furnished and equipped, including a dining room and a parquet lounge, fitted kitchen, shower room, two bedrooms, and a plot with direct access to the river .
Touritique in a valley in the heart of the Chateaux of the Loire (Azay le Rideau, The Chatonnière Islette, Rigny-Ussé, Langeais, Chinon Fortress), museums: Museum of the Pear Tapée, Dufresne Museum, the Museum ... basketry, not to visit the various vineyards; we suggest renting this house for a week, a weekend for porfiter of our region and discover its beauty.

Great for chateaux and relaxing in riverside gardens

Probably over 100 years old this house has been successfully modernised, providing well equipped, comfortable accommodation. The garden is on the opposite side of the D-road which can be busy with cyclists and bakers on their way to work at 04h00! The riverside setting is delightful with plenty of shade and comfortable garden furniture. The owner lives next door and is very helpful, although he did not show us how the TV worked, so we went without (not a problem with efficient WiFi) and the advertised DVD was not provided. Ideally located for at least 4 of the 'premier' chateaux, with small towns and villages in easy distance for bars & restaurants; we clocked up less than 150 kms during our 7 day stay. Large Carrefour in Azay-le-Rideau and a quirky motor/farm machinery museum less than 5 minutes walk away. A most enjoyable holiday home.

Wonderful!

What an amazing place to stay. The house is beautiful and the garden is tranquil and relaxing. After a day exploring chateaus, Samur or Tours, the evenings were spent by the river fishing or relaxing listening to birdsong and watching the Kingfishers whizzing past. We were sad to leave and very much hope to return again.

Excellent séjour. Hôtes charmants, très disponibles. L'endroit est en tous points conforme à la description. Vaste jardin sur le bord de l'Indre (très agréable et parfait pour les enfants) : les rameurs pourront ramer ! La maison bénéficie d'une restauration très récente et de bon goût. Les charmes de la région n'ont pas à être vantés et le lieu est idéalement situé.

Très bon accueil. Une location entièrement rénovée, fonctionnelle, propre et décorée avec goût.Un jardin bucolique avec rivière et bels arbres, idéal pour la rêverie et la sieste.
