We will organize your dream sailing vacation!

If this all sounds great to you, hop aboard and sail with us, and we guarantee that you won't have a bad day! If you have never sailed before, don't worry, you don't need to have any sailing experience or skills, we do all the hard stuff for you. We sail on protective waters always within sight of land, for only few hours a day and with the steadiness of a catamaran, you can forget about seasickness. Why not to try something new. You will never find better conditions to start your sailing adventure.

THE YACHT:

Our yacht, 'Shanties,' is a Leopard 46 catamaran, a blue water cruising catamaran and the perfect charter boat that combines spacious living accommodations, high quality fittings and great performance. The yacht won the Cruising World 2008 Boat of The Year award and has been praised for combining several key features crucial to the holiday market including easy handling, lively performance, spacious and uncluttered living areas, and great accessibility.

There are four spacious cabins with a queen size bed, each with air conditioning and a bathroom including an electric toilet and separate shower. The saloon is bright and airy with three small opening ports to provide through ventilation. The saloon also includes a large table with wraparound seating, a galley with a fold out countertop, and all the comforts of home including a stove, oven, and refrigerator.

Outside in the cockpit area, there is additional seating and a table who those desiring open air and more sun. The raised helm station is located in the hard top roof with open access to the cockpit and all controls lead aft, for excellent visibility and ease of maneuvers. On the transom, there is a bathing platform to offer easy access to the water and showering afterwards.

Additional equipment includes: a generator, high-quality navigation systems, ocean kayak, stereo systems with iPod dock, deck shower, barbeque, snorkeling gear, scuba diving gear (two sets), and dinghy with 15HPoutboard engine.

THE CAPTAIN:

If you would like the experience and security of a qualified captain but are willing to do your own cooking (or dine ashore if you prefer), you can save a lot of money on our charter. Captain only charters are the perfect blend of bare boat and crewed charters. You make the plan, set the pace and itinerary, and the captain takes care of the sailing.

Our captain, Jack Reschke, is the founder and owner of the catamaran with over 30 years of cruising experience. He has sailed over 80,000 nautical miles on many different sailing vessels and for the past 7 years, has spent 7 months of every year sailing in the Caribbean. He has a US Coast Guard 100 Ton Master License, South African Yachtmaster Ocean License, and the Polish Yachtmaster Ocean License. With all his skills and experience, Jack promises to make your Caribbean sailing vacation 'No Bad Days' experience.

THE COSTS:

Charters can start and end on any day that is convenient to you, depending on the yacht's availability. Rates are for the entire yacht, and depend on the time of year (20% more for Christmas and New year rental).

Extra costs are provisions (food and drinks) for your group and the captain, water, ice, local permits, mooring and marina fees. Approximately $25 per person per day is a good estimate of how much you well spend on food and drinks on board. Local permits typically cost $3 per person per day. Average cost of mooring and marina fees $250 per week.

We hope that you join us on our catamaran and experience the vacation of a life time!
