In the heart of the historic center of Trieste, in Cavana, you will find this characteristic open plan studio, the Pogri House.
Near the sea, and under the hill of San Giusto, a Loft immaculate decor for your stay.
Recently renovated, it is perfect for short and medium periods.
The rates are discounted depending on length of stay, during which you wish to enjoy the beautiful city of Trieste.
The entire area around the apartment you can park your car for free.
A few meters from the apartment there are paid parking.
The fantastic location of the property will make your stay perfect.
The apartment is located in the historic center of Trieste, a charming and characteristic staircase next to the pedestrian area filled with shops, delis and local.
The various museums and other attractions are concentrated in any area.
At 200 meters it will arrive on the shore, out area overlooking the sea.
At 50 meters the pedestrian zone begins.
The apartment is a loft open space of 45 square meters, and comes complete with everything you could possibly need.
We will provide sheets, towels and tea towels for the kitchen.
The bed is a bed with mattress 140x200 cm, also the sofa, with a simple movement, it transforms into a comfortable bed (always with the mattress 140x200 cm).

Super Location

Denis' apartment was exactly as described. It was very clean and well stocked with kitchen implements should you decide to cook. Its location makes it a gem. Close to the heart of town, but far enough from tourist crowds to sit with locals for end of day Campari and chips a block away. Denis was patient with my terrible Italian and his English was terrific. He even helped us get a cab on the way out as I'd goofed that up somehow. Fun spot!

A Week at Pogi House in Trieste

An ideal location, just off a main avenue through a lively part of the old town. Numerous cafes, bars and restaurants within a 10 to 15 minute walk. Within 15 to 30 minutes walking of many of the City’s main attractions. Basic, comfortable one room, studio type apartment with a separate bathroom. A combination washer/dryer was very convenient after a while travelling. The Host was very helpful in getting us settled and highlighting some places to eat. Parking in this area is a challenge and a car is not useful for most old town sight seeing. If you bring one, best to find a long term park and leave it.

Zwei tolle Wochen in einer grossartigen Stadt! Das so schön wie praktisch eingerichtete Apartment mitten in der Altstadt, trotzdem sehr ruhig gelegen, war idealer Ausgangspunkt für Unternehmungen in Triest und Ausflüge in der näheren und der weiteren Umgebung..

Sehr schönes Apartment in toller Lage

Mitten im Viertel Cavana mit Cafés, Restaurants, Läden, Museen und 300 m zum Hafen gelegen, ist das Apartment perfekt auch für einen mehrtägigen Aufenthalt in Triest. Mit dem Bus kommt man super zu der Promenade von Barcola bis Grignano, wo man Baden und sich sonnen kann. Viele Bars entlang der Promenade. Im Apartment alles sehr sauber, gut ausgestattet, ruhige Lage. Kostenloses Parken in den Straßen, aber man muss Glück haben, einen freien Platz zu ergattern. Zur Not etwas weiter laufen. Wir waren 10 Tage in Triest und total begeistert.

Great Location

Perfect place for a couple. It is small but has everything you need. We cooked all our meals here, so the kitchen is totally adequate for a weeks stay. The location could not be better, and an easy walk to the port, as well as all the sights. Great hosts.

Compact apartment with everything you need in an area 5 mins from the shore with lots of eating, drinking and museum options. Good bus service if you don't fancy 10 min walk to the centre. Suggest providing check-in/out details ahead of time as well as bus details from station. There were no taxis when we arrived.

Cavana is wonderful

What a great stay we had. We were in Cavana for 8 days and used its wonderful location as a base for exploring Trieste, enjoying the beautiful people and nightlife of Cavana, and taking day trips to Slovenia and Croatia. The hosts are fantastic, and we fell in love with the Pogri House and its neighborhood. We would 10/10 come back to the property again. I grew up in Trieste, and come here frequently. I’m grateful I know about this little diamond.

Beautiful studio walking distance to the conference center

This was a wonderful apartment centrally located in Trieste. It is walking distance to the central square, conference center, and many restaurants. A few of our favorites were Mug and Osteria di Mare Aalla Voliga (local seafood place with a wonderful owner). There is a fully functional kitchen, but we did not use it :) The owners were very friendly and accommodating. We would really love to come back to Trieste. If we do, we will stay here again!

Great place to stay in Trieste!!

The apartment is lovely, clean and cheerful. There is everything necessary, and more, to insure a comfortable stay. Denis and Camilla are perfect hosts and very accommodating. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this apartment to a friend and would gladly return here myself.

Versteckt in einem Innenhof und deswegen ganz ruhig gelegen bietet dieses hübsche Appartment alle Annehmlichkeiten für einen Stadturlaub. Ideal für zwei. Am Rande der belebten Altstadtgassen mit Einkaufsmöglichkeiten und Lokalen für jeden Geschmack. Und einen Katzensprung vom Pier entfernt. Camilla und Denis waren supernett und zuverlässig.

Splendida location

È' stato bello essere ospitati da Camilla e Denis, è stato come entrare in una casa di amici. Arredo sobrio e attento ad ogni comfort, molto pulito e caldo, visto il freddo che faceva fuori. SILENZIOSISSIMO. A due passi dal centro città, il quartiere è ricco di locali e ristoranti. Ci torneremo sicuramente.

Sentirsi subito a casa

Un soggiorno fantastico, ci si sente subito a casa. L'appartamento, che si presenta esattamente come in foto, si trova in una posizione super. Il centro di Trieste e le principali attrazioni turistiche sono comodamente raggiungibili a piedi. Denis e Camilla sono molto cordiali e disponibili. Che dire..? Per il vostro soggiorno non posso altro che raccomandarvi questo appartamento!
