La Casa del Corregidor, which is located on the main street, is a great eighteenth century house, which was owned by the Corregidor of Santaella and served as the village barn. It is an atypical acasa with

large walls, vaults that supported the weight of wheat, a small patio and sliding glass cover, keeps all extructura and original floors and a Jewish post. The home also has a courtyard with pool and lovely original wall. BBQ also available. Plasma TV 42 "in living room and master bedroom, plasma TV 18 'room with disabled access, heating and air conditioning in all rooms. The house has everything you need, fully equipped with refrigerator, dishwasher, oven, microwave, toaster, coffee maker, kettle, kitchenware. Santaella is located in the heart of Andalusia. It is 34 kms. Cordoba where you can visit the Mosque of Cordoba, the Alcazar of Catholic Kings, the Arab baths, etc. It is located about 95 Kms. Of Seville, Granada and about 165 Kms from Round 95.

Hidden gem within quaint streets of santaella .

If you are looking for something different to the norm then this is a must . Set off street within santaella but easy walking distance to bars resturants. Quiet location but easy drive to cordoba , Seville , water park. Property has all amenities and the house itself easily accommodated 6 adults and one child , our stay was wonderful and the court yard pool was perfect for our needs .

fabulous house in the center of the village

We loved our stay in Santaella. The house is beautiful, comfortable and had everything we needed. The only thing we wished for was a view but realize this was not the way the house was situated in the village. The bakery and grocery were convenient as were bars and a restaurants in the village. We enjoyed day trips to Córdoba, Ronda, and a walk through el Torcal de Antequerra. Our girls had many opportunities to practice their Spanish in this beautiful area of Spain.

The most wonderful home away from home

A group of us traveled from California to La Carlota for our dear friend’s wedding and we couldn’t have been more impressed with La Casa Del Corregidor. The rooms are cozy and wonderfully comfortable. The parlor room was our favorite... we gathered to play games and relax. And we had lots of fun cooking and eating in the kitchen and dining room. Furthermore, Dolores was always willing to go the extra mile in helping us set up dinner reservations and seeing points of interest. Santaella is a beautiful town and those we met were lovely and helpful.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and recommend this house to anyone traveling to the area.

Beautiful, unique home!

My wife and I spent 5 nights in this wonderful home in the heart of Andalusia. It was much bigger than the 2 of us required, but we loved everything we saw and read about it on this site, so we decided to book it. We were not disappointed! The house is huge and beautifully furnished. It has just about everything one would need. Seville and Cordoba are a short drive away. The town of Santaella (where the house is located) is charming with restaurants a short walk away. Delores is an excellent host. She helped us before we even left home by answering our questions about getting to Seville and Cordoba and went out of her way to make sure we had the best experience possible; very fortcoming with information. We had a wonderful vacation here, due in large part to Delores. The only drawback is the traffic noise in the master bedroom, but there is really nothing that can be done about that. We still give 5 stars for this location as there are many, many other positive qualities about this house. We highly recommend this property to anyone visiting the area. Thank you for everything, Delores!

The house has two entrances from two streets. The main entrance on the ground floor by sliding street (where you can not park) and another entrance on the first floor (where if you can park)

Visit the Chapel of the Valley (Andalusian Baroque), Nta Church. Ms. Assumption (Renaissance), Arab Walls and Municipal Archaeological Museum. You can also visit an olive oil mill, horseback riding, etc.
