You Will Love This Property
The location of this property is in a neighborhood with everything you need close. A grocery store, bus stops, bar/cafe, a restaurant and gelato!! The apartment is beautiful! The kitchen is a full kitchen. The terrace steals the show. I look forward to one day returning.
Top of the world
This property is absolutely beautiful!!!! Ultra clean. Best view. Great hosts. The veranda was fantastic with a outside shower.
extremely rude host and basic bed and sofa!
Where to start...Never met Maria but her cousin gave us the key and pointed where to go, ok we were checking in early but still.
The apartment location is handy, but high up so be prepared for steps and waiting for the bus back up from the centre of positano.
The Terrace views are amazing... that’s about the only nice thing to say about the place.
The apartment looks fairly new, but already starting to get run down. This can be noticed by scratches on the walls from sun loungers, a ceiling light loosely fitting, damaged cupboard doors and a kitchen tap that needs tightening up. It’s also lacking cooking utensils, such as knives!
On the first night we found out the couch, that doubles up to be a spare bed, isn’t very comfy. This wouldn’t have been a problem but the weather wasn’t overly nice so we stayed in a few nights. The covers on the sofa could also use a wash!
The same night, we also noticed the bed sheets smelt stale, pretty sure they hadn’t been washed as we washed them the next day and the smell had gone!
After one night, having not met Maria still, I then received a text with a picture of some rubbish downstairs asking if it was ours. Before I could even respond to say no that wasn’t ours I got another rather rude text telling me where rubbish should go etc. I responded saying it wasn’t ours but got no apology.
So night 4... now the fun begins... my missus gets a shower and I jump in after only for the water to go cold. Left it over night in hope she’d just used all the hot water, but water was cold again. Text Maria to tell her water was cold but would text her later in case it goes warm. Come in later and it’s still cold, she says she’ll get it looked at tomorrow morning.
Later I went to cook some food, only to find there was no gas! Wasted food but penny dropped so told her it was the gas that was the issue. We said we’d be in all morning and would wait around. 11am came and no show, so left the key downstairs! Returned at 2:30pm and still no gas! Next minute a man arrives, grabs a key and comes back and says it’s sorted! Half a job, cooking gas on but no hot water, luckily I spotted a key to find the boiler to restart it!
Apparently I’m rude for being suggesting she should consider a partial refund for lack of hot water for 2 days! Who’d think they’d check the gas levels every now and then? Maybe that’s too much like common sense!
Never met Maria, our exchanges were short and she blocked me! Rude!
We could not have asked for a better time in Positano. Maria's apartment enjoys a breathtaking view of Positano - one of the best in town. The apartment was comfortable and well equipped. Maria was very responsive and a great host. This was a 10/10 experience. Thank you Maria
Epic View & Terrace
This was a lovely little spot tucked high in the city of Positano. Be prepared to walk all the way up A LOT of steps to get there or if you can't, try & make use of the local bus. The bed isn't the comfiest, but the terrace and view are definitely unmatched! Friendly neighborhood too!
This was truly a beautiful place, very clean, so very nice!!! This was the best part of our trip...great hosts! We will be back.
The apartment can be easily reached by public transport and it is 1 hour away from Naples airport.
