A menos de 100 yardas del paseo marítimo y las playas de Santa Margherita Ligure, cerca del puerto, apartamento bellamente (recién) renovado con jardín / terraza, a 2 minutos a pie de tiendas y otras comodidades del centro histórico de la ciudad. Una combinación rara de una ubicación muy céntrica y espacio al aire libre. Caracterizado por un área de sala-comedor-cocina, dos dormitorios y dos baños y un área de jardín / patio. Aproximadamente 600 pies cuadrados más jardín / patio.
El apartamento ha sido completamente renovado a un nivel muy alto y los baños y la cocina son nuevos. El apartamento está amueblado con estilo y atención al detalle y el patio privado es perfecto para una cena al aire libre. Cada habitación es tranquila y una tiene acceso directo al patio / jardín. El dormitorio principal tiene una cama king size, el segundo dormitorio tiene una litera con una tercera cama que sale. En el salón el sofá se convierte en otra cama para 1 persona. La cocina está totalmente equipada y el salón dispone de televisión y reproductor de DVD. Separa en el apartamento de lavandería.

Perfectly spacious apartment with everything you need for your stay. Alessandra and Emilio are so nice and helpful - parking (at extra cost) was terrific as we didn’t need the car during our stay. We had a great time!

Apartment was clean and check in/out was very easy. Plenty of room for our family of 5. Located close to the heart of Santa Margherita so we could walk to everything. Kitchen had everything you need and the patio area was a really nice option. We had a car and there is very limited street parking so I found a garage that was a 10min walk away and well worth the money. Overall, excellent experience.

Santa Margherita apartment in fabulous location

The apartment was exactly as advertised and had everything we needed. The outdoor patio was lovely for meals. Everything was a short walk away. The gourmet grocery store Seghezzois a must for their pesto lasagne. And a fabulous bakery for fresh croissants in the morning!

5 night stay on the Italian Riviera. Perfect home base for excursions to Portofino and Cinque Terre. The apartment was perfectly located in a quiet neighborhood in the town center. Great restaurants and cafes 1-3 min walk away. Took the train (1hr) to cinque terre and the bus (20 min) to Portofino. Great local hike to Fruttuoso. Would stay again.

Better than the pictures

This accommodation is close to everything and has two bedrooms, two bathrooms, and can accommodate up to six people. It also has a washing machine, dishwasher, and a nice kitchen. There is back garden with possibility to sit and relax. The Landlady and Mr. Emilio are very helpful and friendly.

Central nice apartment

Nice apartment, really centrally located. Helpful host who answered quickly when we had questions. Good beds, quiet neighbourhood and everything you need. Great with the outside terasse. The pamphlet about how to handle trash (must be sorted and put outside on different days) had been lost but we got help from the owner so it worked out.

We loved it. Great apartment, great town, great country.

Santa Margherita Ligure is a beautiful sea-side town. It has everything you need within a short walk from Alessandra Byrne's apartment: restaurants, shops, and walks along the Ligurian Sea. The apartment has a well equipped kitchen, a bedroom with a queen-sized bed, and two bathrooms. Our host, Alessandra, is a kind and caring person. Emilio, the day to day host is always available to make sure that you have everything you need. His English is excellent. I wouldn't hesitate spending another vacation in this apartment in the beautiful town of Santa Margherita Ligure. Highly recommended.

Not as luxurious as expected

We stayed as a group of three for five nights. The location was great, but everything else was not as expected. The apartment was very humid, and I assume it had mold. The smell of cigarettes was unbearable. On the first evening, we had to clean the apartment floors and walls to get rid of bugs and most of the cigarette smell. We used the backyard a lot since the air inside was too difficult to breathe, especially during the hottest parts of the day. Don’t rely on the information about the unit having a grill, as it was already falling apart and completely unusable. The location was nice, and check-in was easy.

Very nice place!

It was the best apartment where I was. 1) Very nice location. 5 min to the beach, 2 min to the center of town. However it was very quietly. 2) The apartment is very good equipped. There is all of you need for the living. Especially a sanitary equipment is excellent. 3) One of the main reason why I chose this aparment was private garden. It was super to have a breakfast in the open air. 4) There was no any problems with the parking of my car. I was provided a parking place in the garage. So if I will come in future to Santa Margherita I will stay in this apartment. P.S. My huge thanks to the owner Alessandra.

Ideal central location

Santa Margherita Ligure is a wonderful town to be in and easy to visit nearby touristy Portofino and lovely sublime Camogli. This is a basement apartment in a typical condo building, very quiet, secure, clean, modern, nice showers with unlimited hot water, king size bed, good lighting, Plenty of towels, excellent washing machine. No view, located on a quiet side street. The deck off the kitchen is mostly private. Mosquitoes made it difficult to use. Outdoor furnishings were OK, but not as good as pictures. Kitchen was clean and adequate. The adjacent seating area was adequate for 2, with 4 extra folding chairs, but this “living room” is minimal for hanging out. Property manager Maria Alessandra was a pleasure and extremely accommodating for our early arrival and late departure given our train schedules. Stazione 8 minute easy walk with roller bags. Excellent restaurants a short walk away. Recommend the walk to Portofino and back, round trip @ 8 miles, beautiful on a nice day. We enjoyed our stay,very much.

Very nice apartment in a great location

This apartment is in a very quiet section of the town, but is still within an easy walking distance to the main part of town, as well as the marina. The train was just under a mile walk, so I would recommend a taxi when you have your luggage. There are tons of great stores, restaurants and cafes all within a very short walk. The apartment itself was very nicely updated. We just spent 3 weeks in 4 different apartments in France and Italy and this was the only one where the air conditioners worked well enough for us to be comfortable (it was during a heat wave, so we were thrilled). The beds were comfortable and the kitchen was well equipped for anything you would need.We also enjoyed sitting on the lovely patio when the sun went down. My only regret about this place is that I didn't leave more time to spend there, since we really loved the town as well as the apartment. I would highly recommend a stay here if you are going to the area.

Great location

I'll start with the pros: This is the perfect location in Santa Margherita. It's two blocks away from the best part of town for shopping and restaurants Emilio, who helped us was really great and very responsive. Cons: Nice outdoor space but only a table, no comfy chairs to lounge in. There is no real comfortable seating in the living area. There's a sofa but it's not comfortable. It is minimally equipped. For example there's a washing machine but no dryer and no place to hang clothes. There's no microwave. The refrigerator is very small. Overall the host is very nice and I don't think it would take a lot to upgrade the apartment.

Perfect location and perfectly appointed apartment

My family of four had the pleasure of staying at this apartment for 4 nights. It is perfectly located within 3-4 minutes walk of the city center and about 5 minutes walk to the beach. We didn't have a car and certainly never needed one. The apartment itself if perfectly suited for a family. There is a large outdoor living space to extend the size of the apartment on the beautiful days. We were extremely pleased with the great showers (lots of water pressure and lots of hot water). The kitchen is small, but perfectly workable and has new appliances that work great. The owner was brilliant to work with and even was able to set us up for a couple of babysitters so that my husband and I could sneak out to dinner once the children were in bed. I can't recommend this flat any higher. If we return to Santa Margherita, it will that we stay here. You will not be disappointed if you do the same!

A Home away from Home

This was our fifth visit to the Santa Margherita area, and in the early planning stages for this particular visit, we had researched several rental properties, but were confident early in the application process that this was the one. Despite the fact that our communications with Alessandra were via e-mail, we quickly developed a mutual rapport because of her openness, reliability and welcoming nature. Her personality and charm came through, and we felt as if we had already met her. She made a strong impression on us as a person who takes her business seriously and is committed to developing and maintaining satisfied tenants. She has a well-organized system for signing new tenants which makes the application and booking processes flow smoothly. These attributes, all of which were evident in her clear and effective communication with us, prior to official booking, served to convince us that our stay would be enjoyable. The apartment met all four items on our wish list: quiet neighborhood, comfortable bed, nice bathrooms, and accessibility to all that Santa Margherita has to offer. This apartment is on a quiet street in a very nice neighborhood. The door from the combination kitchen, dining and living area, as well as the door from the second bedroom, each open onto a lovely private garden with trees, flowering plants and additional seating. The apartment was well-maintained, and exactly as pictured and described, equipped with everything we needed for a comfortable and convenient stay. The location couldn't have been better, quiet but only a 5-10 minute walk to cafes, restaurants, grocers, shops, churches, historical sites, the harbor, train station, etc. Alessandra had provided us with dining out recommendations, and we used them, but we also enjoyed preparing the specialties of Liguria and dining in. Emilio, the apartment manager, lives in the building, was very attentive and helpful to us, sharing recommendations for an interesting and enjoyable stay. Brochures, information about weekly markets and seasonal events, train and bus schedules, maps and related information are available for tenants to use in planning activities in Santa Margherita and excursions to other towns along the beautiful coast. Alessandra's communication and organizational skills, reliability and commitment to ensuring the comfort of guests had an enormous impact on the quality of our tenancy and our enjoyment of Santa Margherita and the surrounding area.

Less than 100 yards from the Santa Margherita Ligure sea promenade and beaches, a beautifully (just) renovated apartment with garden/terrace, within a 2 minute walk of shops and the other amenities of the historic town center. A rare combination of a very central location and outdoor space. Characterized by a living room-dining room-kitchen area, two bedrooms and two bathrooms and a garden/patio area. Approx 600 sq ft plus garden/patio.
The apartment has just undergone a full renovation to a very high standard and the bathrooms and kitchen are new. The apartment is furnished with style and attention to detail and the private patio is perfect for a dinner al fresco. Every bedroom is quiet and one has direct access to the patio/garden. The master bedroom has a king size bed, the second bedroom has two single (bunk) beds (that can become three beds). The kitchen is fully equipped and the living room has a television and DVD player. Separate in apartment laundry.
Linens, blankets, quilts and towels are provided.
