Thanks for considering a Vacasa home! We provide full-service management for privately owned vacation homes, and like to think that we offer our guests the best of both worlds: the unique experience of staying in a one-of-a-kind vacation home, with the peace of mind that comes from knowing that the home you book for your special vacation is cared for by professional housekeepers and property managers.
Vacasa began in 2009, simply because our founder and CEO Eric wanted to find a better way to share his wife’s family’s summer home in Long Beach, Washington with guests as a vacation rental. Eric and his early team worked to build Vacasa on the premise that local employees can do what they love most (taking care of guests, homeowners, and properties), while the hands-off tasks of vacation rental management—things like marketing, filing taxes, and maintaining a website—could be handled by a specialized central support team.
Our passion is connecting travelers with the unique experience of staying in a vacation home, and we would be honored to be your host. Please contact us with any questions about this home—our team is standing by!
The house was great. Remote, quiet, beautiful view of the lake the entire time you're cooking or eating or just hanging out. Deck is big and hot tub was nice. Definitely worth it.
The huge glass windows that fill the front of the house provide gorgeous views of the lake through the trees, and I'm sure in summer the deck is a great place to hang out. Sitting in the hot tub watching the moon shine on the lake and the stars through the trees above was wonderful. The bright control panel light for the tub is stuck on, which kills the mood a little, and there's one jet that's also stuck on which doesn't allow for a really quiet soak, but those are minor details.
The house itself is functional and well appointed, if a bit dated. The kitchen and bedrooms could really use a remodel. There's a strange smell and I would have liked to be able leave the doors open to air out the house but with two dogs and no screens of the doors that wasn't possible. Screens would be great.
Kitchen is small but functional with all expected appliances and a good selection of pots and pans.
There are two bedrooms on the main floor which are small and spartan, and a larger loft which Looks like a great spot to wake up to views of the sun rising over the lake. Unfortunately the loft is up a set of steep spiral stairs and d/t mobility issues we could not get up and down easily.
The dock is another nice addition, - great spot to have a beer and watch the sunset.
Overall, we enjoyed our trip, and the house worked but felt unloved and out of date.
What a relaxing time spent. This place a is out of the way and quite. You can hear the beach off in the distance.
The short walk down to the dock and you are enjoying the lake.
The trout are big and fat.
Perfect place to escape pressure of life.
The size of cabin was perfect for my family of four. The lake was amazing and we will be coming back next year to stay again. My family had a wonderful time!
