We were close to everything and were able to walk to many sites. There was a taxi stand close for when we needed transportation. Being right on the Campo di Fiore was such fun.
We loved our stay here! You couldn't ask for a more perfect location to explore Rome from. We were able to walk everywhere including to the Colesseum and the Vatican! The place was clean and the bed was comfortable. My one complaint is that there was no hand soap otherwise the place was perfect!
Great balcony and location. Part of being at the top of the building is some stairs and a low ceiling in the bedroom.

Campo di Fiori
After a check-in glitch (my fault) everything went well. Location is great and the rooftop terrace perfect for morning coffee and evening wine (if you can balance everything as you climb the circular staircase).
Overall I would stay here again.
Perfect central location for exploring Rome. Easy to communicate with host. Not for those with mobility issues since the last flight of stairs is steep. Ceiling above bed is lower than seems in photos and noise from neighbors at 2am is something you have no control over, just use ear plugs. AC was wonderful after a long day.
What a wonderful location in the heart of Campo di Firori! My wife & I spent five nights in the Baullari Terrace and it is a perfect location to walk to most anything in Rome. The host was very accommodating with our request for an early check in since we arrived into Rome by train and had no where to go or put our bags. The roof top terrace is the highlight of the apartment, and you can even see the dome of St Peters Basilica. Campo di Firori is a bustling market during the day, but at night all the venders clear out and the square becomes a romantic spot for evening dinner. We are so glad we found this spot for our time in Rome.
Fabulous property. Management was flawless. Communicated well. Medicine at the apartment at the appointed time and let us in and walk us through and give us a complete review of the property. The property came with parking which we took advantage of and worked well. The location couldn’t be better. Outside the city center, but with a tram stop right in front that goes down to the city center.. Coffee shop, bread store right on the corner. Grocery store across the street. Only complaint is the coffee machine. We couldn’t find pods for it. We really enjoyed it. Hope to stay there again if we come back to Florence.
Despite being perfectly located, and right on the edge of Campo de Fiori, this property is very quiet to sleep in and the airconditioning works well. The layout is a bit quirky, but very livable, and the furnishings don't look new any more, but the unit is well equipped and will make for a great stay. The rooftop terasse is wonderful for the morning or early evening for some fresh air. The elevator also takes care of most of the stairs, so no issue there.Probably not the right unit for folks that are mobility challenged, but an unusual find for most of us who are still limber.
A/C, terrace was nice. Great location. Bedroom and bathroom were cramped with a VERY low ceiling. Bed mattress practically on the floor. Blanket was stained and looked disgusting. Only offered one dish towel, two hand towels and two bath towels for our four day stay. No washcloths. Bathroom sink was clogged. Lighting was not good. Only one small spotlight in each room. No chest of drawers for clothes. Only one wine glass and no regular glasses or cups were available.
Werecently had the pleasure of staying at Baullari Terrace in Rome and can confidently say that it was excellent. From the moment I arrived, I was impressed by how clean the apartment was, and the check-in process was both easy and efficient. The apartment itself was excellent - modern, well-designed, and equipped with everything I needed for a comfortable stay.
One of the standout features of Baullari Terrace is its location. Situated right outside the daily market, the apartment is surrounded by numerous restaurants and cafes, making it the perfect base for anyone looking to explore the culinary delights of Rome. Additionally, there are plenty of sightseeing options nearby, and taxis are readily available just down the street. Of course, no trip to Rome would be complete without sampling the ever-popular Aperol Spritz, which is available virtually everywhere in the piazza.
The real highlight of my stay, however, was the amazing patio. Not only was it a perfect spot for sunning and relaxing, but it also provided breathtaking views of the city. It's worth noting, however, that if you're over 6 feet tall, you may need to watch your head as the ceiling is a bit low in some areas.
Overall, we would highly recommend Baullari Terrace to anyone looking for a comfortable and well-located apartment in Rome.
We enjoyed our stay overall and wanted to share a few observations. As a senior couple, we appreciated the room. The building has a small two-person elevator that takes you to the third floor, but be aware—there are about 25 steep steps after that to reach the fourth floor. The steps are uneven in size, so take care. The room itself is a bit dated. The TV is over 40 years old and doesn’t support HDMI inputs (so no using a Fire Stick). There’s also a wobbly box used as a step into the kitchen; it would be safer to replace that with a proper small staircase and a handle for support. On the plus side, the washer worked well, and the rooftop terrace was a highlight—we spent a lot of time up there in the sun. The 15-foot spiral staircase to access it is narrow and only fits one person at a time, but manageable if you take it slow. The apartment does need a deep clean, and there are no real windows to look out of unless you’re up on the terrace. That said, the hot water and water pressure were both excellent. We would consider staying again if they updated the TV and gave the place a thorough cleaning.
This apartment is a very interesting place in an excellent location. Not for anyone with difficulty with stairs. The elevator was great, so there were only 2 sets of stairs to climb plus the spiral staircase up to the terrace. Architecturally it was very nicely done. Be aware that the stovetop is an induction burner (with no instructions provided) in case you aren’t aware of this technology and want to make coffee in the morning.
The apartment was charming, with a great terrace and prime location.
