Loved Torr Top Place! As a solo older lady who wanted to visit Manchester’s Christmas markets, this was a perfect base. The kitchen was well equipped, sitting room cozy, bathroom modern, and everything immaculate. Uber transport was readily available and Sainsbury’s (local grocer) was a short walk away. I highly recommend Torr Top Place!
Lovely stay at a great property. Ideal location for walking, cycling and there are plenty of attractions to visit in the area. The property was well equipped, comfortable and quiet. We would definitely come again.
We had a very comfortable stay in a lovely little cottage which was also very conveniently located
Close to the airport and with the Peak District right there. I would recommend it to anyone looking to spend some time in a lovely part of the world.
Situated in an ideal spot for walkers, lovely apartment every thing you could wish for! Conveniently placed for the high street too!
Lovely lovely location
Torr Top is a clean, comfortable, beautifully decorated and well-equipped apartment. We were only there one night, but it is a great place to stay for several days. Highly recommend. Host is attentive and responsive.
The property is very good. Clean, very good beds, nice, well equipped kitchen with table to sit at. Nice sitting room. The environment is also very nice, nice park nearby to walk.
Was great inside and had everything we could have needed. It was cosy and clean too.
Parking was a tight squeeze for one of the spaces, but it was appreciated.
All amenities covered in this great little cottage with a fabulous garden. Thankyou we will be back!xc

Hi Janice & Dave
Many thanks for your review. I'm glad you had an enjoyable stay.
We look forward to you considering us again when staying in the area.
Thanks
Andy
New Mills is not a spa town like Buxton but it has an interesting industrial heritage. It is a great centre for local walks and for accessing Kinder Scout and the likes of Mam Tor. There is a good train service to Edale & Hope which can give some flexibility in planning walks. We couldn't fault the property, it is well equipped and comfortably furnished.
Spotless, well appointed apartment in a good location
A lovely well appointed modern apartment. It was warm, spotlessly clean with everything you might want in kitchen and bathroom. With a riverside walk just below the property, pubs, shops and takeaways above the apartment, the peak district and central Manchester both less than 30 minutes away, this was a great location.

Hi Bob. Thanks for your review, and I hope you may consider us again if travelling to the area in future.
Really lovely cottage very comfy and warm. Everything you could possibly need and more! Above and beyond the usual cottage. We will definitely be back.
This was a lovely apartment with lots of extras included such as DVDs, tea coffee and herbals, even cooking essentials like oil and spices which is rarely found. There was pasta and porridge which we did not use but thought it was thoughtful.
Lovely and clean, comfy fresh smelling bedding and lots of towels.
Host was very helpful and kind. Easy check in. Would stay again
We stayed for 3 nights. The garden is lovely, plenty of seating areas, out eating (BBQ) if weather good & fairly secure for our fur babies.
Easily sleep 5, 1 x room double bed. 1 x room double bed plus day bed. Ample sized rooms & kitchen with dishwasher. We didn't need to use our cars throughout stay as there are ample eateries, takeaways & pubs in the vicinity and an abundance of walks & trails. Would highly recommend & would come back again. Thanks Andy for a lovely stay.
We booked Torr Top Place for ourselves, our son and his partner, and our granddaughter, as a base for Easter weekend extended family get-togethers further afield, in Macclesfield, Bollington and Errwood reservoir - a thirty minute drive in all directions, but worth the drive to enjoy the stunning scenery.
True to his word, Andrew, our property manager, made sure we had two parking spaces, as we were travelling separately most of the time.
Torr Top Place is true to the photographs and description - better, even! A really comfortable Home from Home, with everything you need for an enjoyable stay.
We would certainly recommend it to family and friends, and would not hesitate in re-booking for ourselves, should the need arise.
Was supposed to be a big walking weekend but circumstances changed so had dog walks, eating and Netflix. We loved the property and area very handy having Sainsburys so close! No car required all weekend. Thank you!
Interesting and comfortable property rather let down by steep access and narrow drive. Approach is via one way street and narrow entrance to steep drive to front door and small parking space. Need some manouvering to get longer car into space(skoda superb estate). Windows smaller than expected in kitchen and second bedroom. Both bedroom windows opaque and no Windows were openable. Odd furniture with big grooves in top of tables drawers etc. Main bedroom has finger holes for drawer handles! Suspect apartment is chilly most of year as required heating May/June period. Bathroom radiator rusting. Pretty little garden with small pond; stream at back of garden down very steep bank. Kitchen needs some microwaveable dishes. Entry from front door is into kitchen with bathroom next door then from tiled hall to second bedroom. Down hall to lounge on right and main bedroom on left. Sofas you sink into rather than sit on. Nest thermometer in lounge. Usb hub in main bedroom was excellent. Smart TV with Amazon and Netflix available. Steps from back door gives garden access or via drive from front door. Not wheelchair friendly. Odd hairline cracks in floor tiles throughout.
