About Clyde Sebastian
We are Clyde and Dianne Sebastian, originally from Minnesota but met while we were both teaching school in Australia. We have four adult children and four granddaughters. We have been Texans since 1984. We discovered the Big Island when we celebrated our 25th wedding anniversary in 1999. We fell in love with Hawaii and purchased this time share in 2005 and a home here in 2007.

We stayed at the Billfisher in 2000 and just loved the location. We enjoyed returning to the Island every summer. It is available for rental now because we now have our home on the Island as well.
What makes this Condo unique
We enjoy the ocean view and of the cruise ships that come to Kona and the morning walks along Alii Drive. You will be amazed to catch the blooming of the morning cereus just a few minutes walk south on Alii. You can watch the surfers, bikers, and runners and join them as well. The Kona Billfisher has the perfect location selected as the location of the first timeshare in Hawaii. Walk to the north for shopping and restaurants and to enjoy the art work at the King Kam Hotel.

Excellent location and clean condo with everything you need!
Easy walk to downtown Kona and comes with beach towels, chairs and everything you need in the kitchen including a blender for those tropical drinks! I have seen other reviews about the traffic noise and yes, there is some but if you are like us and not in condo much as out exploring the island, just turn on air conditioner at night and blocks out any noise. Highly recommend!

I would highly recommend this condo, I have never been to Hawaii or worked with this website and it was great.
The owners really keep up with the condo, it over looks the pools and you can see the ocean just like the pictures, I want to go back every year. And i would rent this condo again!!!!!

I was really happy with the affordability of renting this cute little one bedroom ocean view condo. Clyde, the owner, was really helpful with securing an earlier check in time & always very responsive. The unit itself is clean & has vaulted ceilings. Although it is privately owned, it is maintained as a time share / resort property. That said, it does lack a sense of "personal touches" that I've experienced at other VRBO properties. There is a towel service twice a week and an onsite laundromat available for use. The kitchen cookware could use some updating - and the level of noise from nearby Kuakini Highway made it hard to sleep at night but I would still return, I'll just be sure to bring my earplugs!
Candi asked to extend her stay which we were not able to accommodate because it was already booked. Yes, this is a timeshare and it is privately owned. We as owners own 1/12 of the time. We own the period from June 15th to July 13 of this unit. We also own another unit from Msy 15 to June 13. This unit backs up to Kuakini Highway which can have traffic noise but you trade that for a great view. Ear plugs at night are good or close the windows and doors at night to block the noise and use the AC. We price this just to cover our maintenance fees and is great value.
great place to stay
Accommodation was really nice, good size, good view and good location. Would recommend this to anyone who wants to be within walking distance of downtown kona. We would definitely stay there again if we had the opportunity.
Glad you enjoyed your stay and you would return. The location does work without a car but I recommend a car. It is the Big Island. Not a 5 Star resort but based on price and location it is 5 star.
