We have visited France quite a few times and this is by far the best presented, well equipped and cleanest house we have ever stayed in. On arrival we received a warm welcome from Jane who gave us a quick tour and a few helpful pointers. The kids were eager to use the pool and weren’t disappointed, the large garden gave the energetic boys plenty of space to kick a ball, throw a frisbee and play badminton, all at the same time if they had wanted to.
We followed Janes advice and visited the evening food market at Ségur-le-Château, sampling venison kebab and local cider. Well worth a trip ( maybe take some plates and cutlery? ) After reading the comments of previous visitors in the guest book we also decided to take the short drive to Oradour-sur-Glane the martyr village. What an experience? So glad we took the time to go, everyone should go if they get a chance.
We all loved our stay and there were absolutely no faults to be found with the house and the hospitality of the hosts, we would love to come again in the future, can’t wait to see how the piggery turns out.
It is really difficult to find anything negative to say, maybe if we were being super picky, some more shade around the pool? Not really a negative though is it?
Thanks again to the whole family, hope to stay again soon.
