Situated 5 miles from Fort William in the Great Glen, you are ideally located to view Ben Nevis, explore Lochaber, try a variety of pursuits and see why Lochaber is called the “Outdoor Capital of the UK”. Three miles from the “Road to the Isles”, our location ensures good access to the west coast including Moidart, Ardnamurchan and ferry access to the Small Isles and Skye.The immediate area holds an abundance of wildlife and fauna such as Pine Marten, Red deer, Roe deer, Otter, Owls, Buzzard, Butterflies, Kingfisher and Orchid, mosses and lichens.

With a large enclosed garden with a small stream running through, great for kids and pets to play and enjoy the great outdoors. Cot and High Chair available.

Maximum Occupancy 8 people this includes Children, If found to be in breach of this you will be asked to leave. Due to Scottish Licencing Conditions we can not accept extra people.

Beautiful views!

Stayed for a week in this cottage with fabulous views. Very clean and just about everything you need. We were only missing a corkscrew and egg cups, but anything else you need is there. Not quite as homely as we would have hoped as the cottage is quite sparse, but still had a wonderful time. Great to be able to access the canal and take a nice long walk to Neptune’s staircase from the cottage!

Maybank was a lovely place just off the beaten path from Fort William. While it is outside of town the slight drive was worth it. The countryside views were beautiful. Very clean and well stocked with everything we needed. Communication with the host was a 10! We would definitely come back and love to spend more time in this home.

We fully enjoyed our stay in this beautiful home. It is gorgeously situated with a view on Ben Nevis, the Caledonian Canal, sheep, dogs, everything one can wish for, if you're looking for a relaxing country experience. The sanitary is very neat, the kitchen with everything necessary to cook for and eat with 8 people, beds very comfortable. We all feel we can fully recommend this vacation stay.

the location is just breathtaking with views of the mountain and washing the dishes is never a chore with a stunning view of the canal from the kitchen window.
