Corfu at its best

The overall stay was amazing and the neighbors Julia and her Husband were super friendly and shared great tips for visiting Corfu. The entire family enjoyed the vacation and I can definitely recommend this place.

Agréable maison avec de belles prestations

Cette propriété était très agréable, avec un jardin bien entretenu et charmant. La table était toujours à l’ombre ce qui nous a permis de profiter dès qu’on le pouvait de l’extérieur sans souffrir de la chaleur pesante. La maison très belle, avait absolument tous les ustensiles pour cuisiner , des gels douches, des produits ménagers, des serviettes etc… Les ventilateurs de très bonne qualité ont pu remplacer la climatisation absente. Si nous retournons à Corfou,nous aimerions louer chez Elena.

A warm and welcoming property

The house was spacious and comfortable and the host was friendly and welcoming. We were touched that Elena had provided some food given that our flight arrived late. We thoroughly enjoyed our time in Corfu and it was great to be able to get away from the hustle and bustle of the beachside resorts and return to the peace and quiet of the villa in an authentic Greek village. The villa is only a short drive from Corfu Town. Ekena was happy to deal with all our questions and provided useful advice on the local area. She also helped us get a much cheaper car rental from a local company. We had a wonderful stay and would be happy to return.

Maison dans un environnement très agréable

Elena et sa famille sont adorables et toujours disponibles. Leur maison est très agréable et spacieuse. On a mangé dehors tous les jours. Le village dans lequel se trouve la maison est un vrai lieu de vie avec ses tavernes et sa fontaine. Elena nous a conseillé pour nos sorties et nous à aidé à découvrir l'île. Nous garderons un excellent souvenir de ce séjour à Corfou !

Villa bellissima

La villa non e' del tutto indipendente ma e' bifamiliare mentre sull'annuncio si capiva che fosse singola.Nonostante cio', i proprietari che vivono a fianco ,non fanno sentire la loro presenza. Tutto perfetto ,anche la tolleranza nel lasciare la casa(noi avevamo la nave di sera e ci hanno permesso di lasciare la casa in prima serata senza alcun problema. L'unica nota negativa, sono i bagni.Ne sono 4 ma in pratica solo 2 utilizzabili,quello in mansarda in pratica non ha una doccia (troppo piccolo lo spazio); quello al piano terra non funziona lo sciacquone e quindi non utilizzabile. Nel complesso ,il giudizio e' positivo .

The house has been build for own use,however as I am not currently living permanently in Greece and due to extensive travelling because of my current job demands, I cannot enjoy the house as much a I wish.

The property is located in the village of Gastouri in one of the nicest locations in Corfu close to Achillion Palace, which has been build in 1888 by the Empress of Austria, Elisabeth of Bavaria.
The property's prime location allows you to experience some of the real Greek culture and way of living in a traditional Greek Village as you can take long strolls in the village and live the local way.
You may also join local celebrations religious as well cultural particularly during Easter and summer months.
Centrally located and only few minutes drive to Corfu town, beaches, and all other parts of the island,makes the house ideal location for a group of friends or a family who wishes to have a resting holiday,yet to be in a position to visit all popular touristic sites easily.

You can walk or drive few minutes to the nearest beach ,while Benitses fishing village and pontikonisi(mouse island) are only five minutes drive.
