“An Absolute Gem – 2 Porters Court Exceeded Every Expectation!”We’ve just returned from a magical 10-day stay at 2 Porters Court in Barbados. The house itself is a perfect blend of classic Bajan architecture with modern amenities. The open-plan living area flows seamlessly onto a nice covered terrace surrounded by beautiful tropical vegetation. You’re always just steps from that incredible view over the West Coast toward the Caribbean Sea. There are two spacious, air-conditioned bedrooms (all en-suite), each tastefully decorated and with comfortable beds. Location-wise, it’s perfection: tucked away at the end of a quiet cul-de-sac in the prestigious Porters/St James area, yet only a 3-minute minute walk to the beach The gardens are lush and well-maintained, the pool is large and sparkling clean (with plenty of comfortable loungers), and there’s even a little outdoor shower and 10 min drive to Holetown and its restaurants and Limegrove shopping. We felt completely secluded yet never far from anything we neededThe kitchen is fully equipped with everything you need.Sarah has been very helpful providing any info we neededThank you! We’ll be back!

Fantastic 3 week stay

Thoroughly enjoyed Porter's Court both the #2 accommodations and the pool area. Great location for utilizing the fanastic area beaches. Very central to enjoy everything that the Holetown through Speightstown area has to offer, as well easy and convienent to drive to other areas of Barbados.

Home from home

Fabulous little villa exactly as described in the listing. A real home from home with everything you could possibly need right down to bags for life for when you go to the supermarket. Perfect location less than ten mins walk to the beach. Far enough from the town to avoid the hustle and bustle but close enough to access restaurants bars and shops. Peaceful location the only sound u’ll hear is the tree frogs n crickets . Great comms from the owner Wouldn’t hesitate to book again

Fabulous stay in great location

We have stayed at Porters Court before and Sarah's villa did not disappoint. A beautiful 2 bedroom 2 bathroom villa with everything you need for a fantastic stay. Lovely terraces front and rear of the property and a gorgeous hammock that was well used. The villa was comfortable, welcoming and a perfect base for exploring this part of the country. The pool around the villas was excellent and there was always room on a sunbed there.

Lovely villa

We stayed at Sarah's place over Christmas and New Year. Great place, close to beach and amenities. Public transport within easy reach. The villa was as described in rhe listing. Sarah was always contactable abd very kindly arranged our airport pick up. Would definitely recommend.

Home away from home

We are semi retired and trying just getting away for a couple of weeks mid winter. We didn’t want hustle and bustle, just relaxing!! This was the perfect place. So close to everything and getting around was so easy using the buses and walking. We would walk the beautiful beach in the morning and cool off in the pool in the afternoon!! Everyone in the Porters court was so friendly and it quickly became a little community. The villa was as seen in the pictures. We spent a lot of time on the front porch or the hammock. The back deck was quiet and a great place to read a book. We would highly recommend this villa for a relaxing holiday

We had a wonderful stay in this very well equipped villa. Both owner and manager very helpful. We did not find the hot tub mentioned in the details. The pool is very nice. For anyone self driving turn off highway one into storehouse road then 2nd right into Patanne gardens and drive straight to the very end to Porters court entrance gate

We were delighted with everything about this spacious bright and tranquil villa. It was over the road to the beach and yet very private and peaceful. We did not drive but the bus stop was just before getting to the beach so frequent buses were handy to get to the grocery store in Holetown and to venture further in either direction. A couple of small questions we had were answered immediately by the property manager. We enjoyed our stay very much.

A beautiful escape with space to relax

The home is beautiful with lots of space. The kitchen is fully equiped, but bring your own tupperware and dried goods. The pool is incredible and the property shared with the other 8 cottages is immaculate. The property is gated and very safe. The beach is a 3 minute walk and stunning. A car is not necessary because the island buses are frequent and inexpensive; we rented a car for ease with travelling further to explore other parts of the island. Would recommend this cottage or other ones in the complex!

Wonderful winter holiday

This villa was perfect for our needs. It was completely equipped and comfortable for our extended stay. We ate all our meals on the porch and enjoyed the view of the bougainvillea and the smell of the orchid tree. We spent most of our days at the beach, but would enjoy the oasis of calm when arriving back to the villa. We walked to Lonestar and Jumas for supper, but there are also restaurants on the beach for lighter fare. We took the ten minute bus ride into Holetown to Massy grocery store, and then grabbed a taxi for the return trip. Sarah was a delight to deal with and Sheila with her twice weekly visits, kept the villa in tip top shape. We look forward to our return to paradise.

Lovely villa in perfect location

The villa was perfect for a relaxing getaway for our family of four. Well appointed, comfortable and in a very calm and relaxing location - we spent many hours on the porch and in the hammock enjoying the weather and watching the hummingbirds, the tropical birds, chickens and even green monkeys that would stop by to say hello. The kitchen is well appointed - we were there over Xmas and cooked dinner in many nights and had everything we needed. The beach is literally a 5 minute walk away - there is a little back walkway that leads directly to the front of the Fairmont hotel and the local bus to holetown. The beach is amazing beach and you can rent beach loungers and umbrellas for the day (go to the end of the fairmont hotel in the direction away from Holetown and look for the Blue umbrellas and loungers which are for rent for th eday). The neighborhood is very safe and we walked to the local bakery and minimart almost daily and we took the local bus to Holetown too (a 10 min ride and bargain at $3.50). Sarah was a great host and even kindly arranged our taxis. Lovely place and we will be back again soon.

We have Rented this quaint Villa Several Times

We have rented this quaint villa several times and always feel really at home there. It’s location is absolutely perfect ! A minute walk to a bus stop and only a five minute walk to Alleynes Bay beach. On this gorgeous beach you can find several beach bars including jujus and the wonderful Lone Star Restaurant. There are sunbeds to hire and water sports facilities, including waterskiing and inflatable rides. As for the development of Porters Court, it’s very peaceful with beautiful tropical gardens. There are just 8 cottages with a lovely, good sized communal pool. Number 2 is one of the larger properties and the only one with a large decked area to the rear of the property which can be accessed by both back doors. Both bedrooms are of a good size and both are en-suite. There’s plenty of bedding and bath and beach towels. The kitchen is large and has all the equipment that is needed, including a dishwasher and cool boxes to take your beers down to the beach. The house has both ceiling fans and AC. The lounge in airy and light with excellent WiFi and sky TV. Our favourite part of the property is the wrap around veranda with table and chairs to eat at and hammock to laze on. The property owner and manager and both great to deal with and reply to questions quickly. To sum up a lovely relaxing property in a beautiful lush location close to all amenities of near by Holetown. We look forward to visiting again on the 20th Dec this year for Xmas. Louise and Family

Great stay at No 2

I have stayed at other properties in Porters Court before so knew that the location of Sarahs property would be perfect. We had a few little niggles when we arrived, but easy communication with both Sarah and Jeannine, the property manager, got things sorted and it did not spoil our enjoyment of staying there. A booklet giving details of places to eat, transport, emergency services, location of doctors etc would be useful for first time visitors, but as someone who knows the island this didnt affect us. The villa is super comfortable and tucked away in the corner, so peaceful. Thank you Sarah and Jeannine.

Porter's Court is perfect. The ease of booking and dealing with Sarah and Jeanine made our stay fantastic. They both made sure that we had everything we needed to make our holiday perfect. Porter's Court is a hidden gem .. just off the beaten path making for a quiet and relaxing stay, yet steps away from the beaches, Holetown and some fabulous restaurants.

Very relaxing & pleasant stay

We were greeted by Alfreda at the property who was very friendly and helpful. The property was very clean with all the items required for a very pleasant stay. We enjoyed our breakfast in the morning sitting on the front porch and our G&Ts on the back terrace in the evening only comment we felt if you had a couple of sun beds that would have made it even nicer. Sarah the owner always answered any queries we had promptly and pleasantly Overall we were extremely happy with our stay at 2 Porters Lodge. Thank you, Pauline & Eric

Perfect Villa Location near the Beach

Myself and my partner have just returned from a wonderful holiday where we stayed at No 2 Porters Court. It was just the holiday we needed. Our friends Louise, and her family have stayed at this villa many times and they recommended it to us. We loved this villa for its excellent location to the beach and also it is the only villa within the 8 on the complex that has a private back decking area perfect for privacy. Sarah the owner was available through correspondence during our stay and even checked we had landed safely in the UK on the morning of our return, to less than blue skies! We cannot wait to return and would fully recommend all that No 2 Porters Court encompasses, it was perfect for us. We will back soon. Phil Paget

Brilliant Location

My wife and myself thoroughly enjoyed our winter escape. Traditionally we have stayed in a hotel but we decided on a villa holiday this year and we both agree we would no longer return to hotel /room living again. The villa was a perfect location for ourselves, a mere few minutes walk to the beach and near the Fairmont Royal Pavilion Hotel and Beach club. We had several lunches at the beach club and then walked along the beach often ending up for a late afternoon drink on the decking of the lone star. What we loved about this villa was it is in such close easy proximity to Holetown and the large supermarket aswell as being near such an array of restaurants. The villa was clean, and the maid comes once a week. It felt very secure having a code gated entrance and also codes to access the back of the complex. My wife enjoyed watching the birds in the garden, especially the humming birds, the gardens are beautifully maintained. The pool area is very relaxed and the clientele that were in the other villas were professionals and we made some good friends for life. Sarah arranged for us to have some shopping delivered on our arrival and also arranged a taxi pick up and we paid for this locally. The property manager Jeanine was also on hand if we needed anything during our stay. Alot of breeze comes through the villa as you can open doors at the front and the back of the villa so it is pleasant, we did not find it necessary to use Air conditioning. We would fully recommend this villa to our friends and family - although we do not want too many people knowing our find ! Rob and Louise

Lovely Villa

Absolutely LOVED No 2 Porters Court. The villa was in a secure gated complex with beautiful grounds and a lovely communal pool. The beach nearby was fantastic with the local bus stop to Holetown a few minutes walk away. A car is not essential for your stay but we hired one for a few days so we could visit the other side of the island. The villa was delightful with a relaxed vibe offering the privacy of a rear decking which we found very peaceful to enjoy our morning coffee. Sarah the owner was wonderful to deal with when we booked , and had an amazing knowledge of the island. We were met by the property manager on arrival and she was on hand if we needed any questions answered. We are already looking to return next year to this gem of a villa .. my partner and i would fully recommend this property and in particular its location .. I wish we were there now !

Now we have found Hibivillea 2 Porters Court we can feel happy and relaxed in Barbados more than ever and intend to book again . We loved this property ..the location is superb and cental and a mere few minute's from the beach. Sarah the owner is so knowledgeable of the island having spent so much of her childhood there and a recent marketing and events company also, she owned there , a charming lady. The villa is the only one in the small porters complex with a private back decking, it was a joy to wake up in a morning and open the side door in the bed room straight onto the privacy and warmth of the decking. The villa has new modern uk TV systen, that was nice in the evenings to catch up on programmes or watch a good film after a sun downer. The location of the beach is ideal and we spent some time at the Royal Fairmont beach club who welcome all guests. You don't need a car where the villa is located but Sarah arranged one for part of our stay so we saw the east coast and she told us of some secret hideaways knowing the island so well. Sarah was on hand even when we arrived and we could communicate to her whenever needed. The villas property manager was also excellent and the maid was friendly and can also cook ..so if you fancy some home cooked bajan food she will provide. All beach towels are provided in the villa which we found helpful. The overall complex at porters is quaint and quiet and safe and the pool was warm and clean. Total value for money and we cannot wait to return. Because of the back decking access at the back of the property and the additional doors the wind and air travel right through the property making it cooler and pleasant and rarely need use of air con. .. excellent cannot wait to go again ..

Our family are delighted to welcome you to Hibivillea here at Porters Court on the beautiful paradise island of Barbados. As founder owners we have shared many wonderful memories over the years and have taken great delight in opening up our home for the enjoyment of our guests. Traditionally having rented through word of mouth or to repeat guests - we are happy to pass on personal reviews or give you the contact of prior guests, who still book direct with myself.

I currently live in the UK where I used to own an Events Company in the travel and tourism sector specialising primarily in Barbados. My past work experiences have seen me coordinate numerous wedding events on the island, one in particular at the world famous "Cliff Restaurant venue" I have also worked on a number of sports projects including the 2007 Cricket World Cup held here in Barbados. I have made many wonderful friends and associates during my time living on the island and very much look forward to sharing my expert knowledge with future guests staying in our wonderful villa.

I shall be delighted to answer any questions you may have regarding our property and also to offer any information you may require in respect of activities and places of interest.

Barbados is truly a part of my soul ..... i hope you too will embrace a touch of paradise!

Our property is a classic Bajan style villa tucked away in a secure private development allowing complete peace of mind to our guests. Whether you are visiting alone or with a young family, Porters Court is a safe environment where children can run free.

Our wonderful housekeeper will look after you with her beautiful smile, her loyalty is unquestionable and we very much consider her part of the family.

Hibivillea is located only a few minutes walk from Alleyne Beach with access to the local beach bar and highly rated Lonestar Restaurant where the sun sets over the ocean at the end of each day.

I really do have so many happy experiences here .. to wake up on a beautiful sunny morning walk out onto our private terrace and look up at the palm trees and clear blue skies to me is absolute paradise.

Our air conditioned villa with also ceiling fans is a detached property in a secure private development where you can relax and enjoy the peaceful tropical surroundings. It's location really does make a difference to your stay.

Breakfast on the front terrace whilst watching the sunrise is to me just the best feeling!
