Great property but very dangerous getting in and out of water
The house is nice and the location is perfect. However there is no safe way to get in and out of the water. If you're going to rent a waterfront property you should create safe access to the water or warn the renters that this is a problem. The owner's excuse was that the water levels were low. However our belief is, if you're going to rent a waterfront property, you must make a safe way for your renters to get in and out of the water regardless of whether the water is low or high. The entrance to the water is steep and the handrails down to the water were broken or missing. At the entrance into the water there are jagged rocks, a metal sharp post and a broken piece of wood sticking up. It was very disappointing. The properties to the left and right of us had very nice safe docks or cement bags that we're placed so you could enter and exit the water safely. Those properties belong to the same owner so I know that he understands how unsafe this is in comparison. I would never recommend this property to anyone.
The property is clean and well kept!
This was our 2nd year booking this property and we will continue to return in the coming years. We really enjoy the privacy and location of this property. It's right on the river and has a huge yard which is great for big groups and pets. We absolutely love this property and all it has to offer. The property was recently remodeled and has lots of charm.
Great stay in a beautiful house with world-class property management!
The house was great and the owners/property managers were extremely courteous and professional. I would not hesitate to rent from them again! The houses were really well maintained and it was obvious that the owners took a lot of pride in their property.
We had an amazing weekend getaway!!! The house was perfect and the amazing decks and fire pit were the icing on the cake! House was clean and comfortably slept/accommodated everyone. When we arrived we totally forgot to get fire wood. The owner came and dropped off wood for us!! Amazing place on the river. You’ll want to sleep on the upper deck!!! Can’t wait to go back!!
We enjoyed our stay here tremendously!! There were seven of us, and we had plenty of room......only slight downside is that there is only one bathroom, but we made it work! The backyard is the place to be! Deck is big and covered, with an amazing view! We grilled out every night, and even when it rained a little, we were able to sit outside because the deck is covered. It's so convenient to tubing, and there are many tube rental companies close by to help you out. Highly recommend this home!!
We enjoyed our stay over the Labor Day weekend. The property was just as described. The outdoor decks were perfect.
