About Mary Anderson

This property is owned by an Innkeper (the 17hundred90 Inn owner who lives right around the corner) and reservations for this rental are managed by Mary Anderson, a licensed Realtor.

Why Mary Anderson chose Savannah

The location is so desirable! This is a residential area (not above a bar) but is half a block away from a coffee shop bakery, a fine dining restaurant, a microbrew beer store, a casual breakfast and lunch restaurant and tons of tourist destinations are within a half mile in any direction!!

What makes this apartment unique

Having one dedicated parking spot is a huge relief for those who dread parallel parking or the stress of hunting for a spot in a busy area of town.

Guestbook comments from the manager

This location was fabulous! I hadn't done a ton of research into the city's layout before I booked, and was very pleasantly surprised to find how convenient the location was.

It is in the heart of the historic district, just a few minutes' walk to River Street, Forsyth Park, or anywhere else in the historic area. The beautiful Colonial Park Cemetary is right across the street. Many fabulous restaurants are within just a few blocks (no need to go to River Street for food). Offstreet parking was a plus.

Great location!

  • 5 of 5

This property is very clean and spacious for our family of 4, which included 2 teenagers. It was located within walking distance to restaurants and attractions. There is Parkers Market-gas station/convenience store located within a 2 minute walk on Drayton St. The owner was very responsive to emails and texts. We would highly recommend staying here!

Cozy little apartment in the heart of historic Savannah

  • 4 of 5

Location, location, location. This sweet little apartment is in a perfect location for our purposes, which was to visit the Savannah College of Art & Design. It is also within walking distance of most of the tourist attractions in the city.

The apartment is on the top floor, so two flights of stairs to navigate. It is decorated in a sort of beach cottage vibe. Everything was neat and clean, all of the appliances worked, linens were nice, cable tv and wifi available.

Location is pretty quiet in the late afternoons and evenings (we weren't around during the days). There is a construction site behind it, but we didn't notice alot of noise coming from the site, thankfully.

Our one complaint would be that the air conditioner- which is very effective in the heat & humidity - is a bit noisy when it turns on and off. I'm a light sleeper, so it bothered me. My husband and boys slept right through it. Given a choice between being hot & sticky or the occasional noise from the unit, I'd take the air conditioning of course!

Overall - good value for the price, great location, comfortable. We would have easily spent twice as much staying in a hotel.

Quick trip to Savannah

  • 5 of 5

Perfect location despite the construction behind the unit. You can easily walk anywhere. There is a little market down the street. The unit was spotless which is important to me. Loved the off street parking space.

Great apartment is excellent location in downtown Savannah!

  • 5 of 5

My husband and two daughters really enjoyed staying in this great apartment in downtown Savannah. It was conveniently located near many lovely restaurants and we walked everywhere. Forsyth Park was beautiful and we went to the local museums quite easily. The parking spot was pretty nice to have as well. The high ceilings and well appointed furnishings made our stay very comfortable. The night that we got into Savannah, I noticed that the stopper to the bathtub was not working and after texting Mary, she was able to get me a replacement stopper at 10pm at night! I was blown away by her professionalism and attention to detail. I highly recommend this affordable spot!

Sweet Apartment in an Excellent Location

  • 4 of 5

This apartment is lovely, with just enough space for our family of two adults and two teenagers. It was very clean and comfortable. The location couldn't be beat as we could walk anywhere in historic Savannah. The city felt very safe and we often walked late at night. In addition, the parking spot was a huge bonus. I agree with previous reviews that more than two people cannot eat together and the bar was uncomfortable for anyone with long legs. It would be better if they could add a couple of chairs and a slightly bigger table. Most importantly, we were concerned about needing a key to unlock both the apartment and the building doors from the inside. This seemed like a big safety issue, plus it was inconvenient when our family wanted to split up with some people returning to the apartment earlier. Either they needed to be locked in with no way to leave if necessary or the others had no way to get back inside. Overall, we really enjoyed staying at the apartment and would recommend it.
