Perfect little getaway
Our daughter had a track meet at WCU and there aren't a lot of hotel options. So we opted to stay at this cabin on the river. Man, are we glad! It was so clean and the perfect size for us. I liked that linens and towels are included so I did not have to pack those. And having my morning coffee, in my pjs, on the deck, with that peaceful river flowing by - well that was the icing on the cake. We will definitely stay here again!
Great location to relax
Really liked the cabin. The sound of the water is very calming.Even tried my hand at trout fishing, caught a bass. Would do it again. Only complaint is the bed , the mattress was very soft and uncomfortable. Had a hard time sleeping on it
Quiet and peaceful
Cabin was as represented. Great view of stream. Don't know what the brown furry creatures across the stream were but did see a bald eagle in the large tree directly across. Geese, ducks, kayaks and canoes for viewing entertainment. Area might be busy in summer.
Peaceful river views & convenient location make this a great getaway location
Cabins are clean and nice inside. They are at the edge of a industrial ares and old railroad across the river, would be my only complaint. The fishing is good in the Tuck and there is good dinning near by.Overall a fair deal.
Very clean , everything is provided!
Just bring clothes, food and enjoy. This was a much needed great stay. Clean, beautiful views.
