Nice cabin, big porch, on the river... perfect solo weekend getaway!

  • 5 of 5

I really enjoyed my stay here!! Perfect and cozy place to get away (by myself) and relax for the weekend! Easy access to the highway - Cherokee and Blue Ridge Parkway are less than 30 minutes away! Hiking, water activities (when it is warmer), downtown Dillsboro, etc... many things to do! Best parts though - hanging out on the big porch in a rocker and listening to the river or sitting by the fire pit and enjoying some peace and quiet. It was great! From this WCU alumni - I'll definitely be staying again! Thanks!!

This little cabin is truly awesome. We loved sitting on the deck drinking coffee and listening to the river. The place is very clean and well stocked. The only thing i would change would be to have a screen on the sliding door so you could have it open to hear more if the river. The place is very clean and quiet. Will definitely come again! The owner is so nice and very accommodating. Just a wonderful place to stay. We were even invited to stay for a Labor day cookout. It gets no better than that!

Cozy Cabin for a Relaxing "Escape"

  • 5 of 5

We stayed at the cabins only one night, but wished we could have stayed longer. The cabin had everything you needed. It had a very cozy living area, furnished kitchen (although we didn't cook), and full bathroom. The spacious deck overhangs the riverbank, and has rocking chairs, a sitting bench and a picnic table. The view of the Tuskasegee River was awesome with lots of wildlife to watch. There is a grill and firepit with seating beside the deck as well. You can even walk into the water from the bank. We enjoyed sitting on the deck, listening to the water and watching the tubers and kayakers go by. The owner, Tavish, stopped by to make sure everything was ok, and was very helpful with information on restaurants, activities, etc. We absolutely loved the cabin, and will definitely return for a longer stay.

Riverside cabin provided a very refreshing getaway!

  • 5 of 5

My husband and I enjoyed our stay very much and plan to return! We loved relaxing on the wonderful deck that extends over the river's edge. Even in the July heat, there was a nice breeze and a shady area where we could sit or rock. The river is beautiful and so peaceful to hear and watch. Even though there were others around, we felt private. We also found unique places to eat and to explore in Sylva and Dillsboro. We're looking forward to our next visit!
