Fam friendly furniture cottage in a quiet environment. 8 Pers Sauna and Jacuzzi

Family friendly cottage located at Stord, simultaneously is the undisturbed natural surroundings at the foot of Stord Mountain.

The cottage is new in 2016, and contains most of the equipment you need to experience some great holiday days at "summer char" Stord.
The lodge includes among other 4 ceramic hobs, oven, microwave, dishwasher, refrigerator, freezer, coffee maker, food processor. Washing Machine, Satellite TV, Shower / WC Sauna and hot tub / whirlpool. Heated floors, fireplace.

Please note that unfortunately you will not be able to drive all the way to the cabin if there is snow in the winter. If there is no snow, you can drive all the way to the cabin even though there is a prohibited entry sign there. There are also good parking facilities a few hundred meters from the cottage.
Our prices include all fees. No hidden fees.

perfect holiday in the woods of stord, nice home with sauna and whirlpool. Due to the drought and risk of forest fires we are not able to use the whirlpool, that was too bad.

Nice Cabin, High Expectations

The cabin had a lot of room and nice location in the country by some crazy hiking trails. The hot tub is wood burning and definitely needs a full day stay to fill and heat up. The check out process was extensive and required much cleaning by us.

Nice cabin to explore stord from

Very nice modern cabin in a beautifull location with a nice sauna an jacuzi. Hiking areas directly around the cabin and higher up the trail leadong to the mountain. No wifi currently but we did not find that a miss during our stay.

Nice Place, But...

It feels important to mention that the owner does not speak english, it is listed as a language they speak, but they don't. I received a message from them a couple of hours before we were due to arrive (after traveling for over 20 hours) to say that our bedding was wet and in the washing machine and we would need to dry it. Luckily, i found some more bedding which we could use, as we arrived after midnight. There isn't any internet connection, so we used mobile phone data to connect to the tv. We found a booklet and it was a list of cleaning instructions, which felt like the property owner wanted us to deep clean the whole place before we left i.e. 'wipe down all of the window sills' 'wash the skirting boards' etc. It is also very slippery outside when it rains, my son slipped over coming into the house and hurt his back (and he was wearing walking boots with good grip). The ladder leading to the roof top bedroom is a bit dangerous, there are no safety rails and it is very steep. The house is very small, so although it says 'sleeps 8', it is very crowded with 4/5 people (and only one toilet). A big selling point for me was the hot tub, but i was too scared to actually use it, there were strict instructions on using it and then washing and cleaning it afterwards, it didn't seem worth it :( I was very relieved that the lights on the outside of the house are on a timer, because it definitely helped me to find the place. Beautiful wood and scenery though.

Gut ausgestattet und wunderschöne Lamdschaft

Wir hatten einen etwas holprigen Start im Haus, das lag aber an den Gästen die vor uns dort waren, die Kommunikation und Abhilfe mit dem Vermieter hat wunderbar funktioniert und es wurde schnell Abhilfe geschaffen. Das Häuschen hat alles was man braucht Einzig das das Bett im Schlafzimmer war sehr klein und schön durch gelegen. Ansonsten liegt das Haus in wunderschöner Landschaft mitten im Wald etwas entfernt von der nächsten Stadt ca. 30min von der nächsten Einkaufsmöglichkeiten aber wunderbar angebunden an Natur Wanderwege und im Winter Skigebiet. Man wacht früh auf mit vogelgesang und einen kleinem rauschenden Bach. Man kann wunderschöne wandertouren direkt vom Haus aus starten und den Tag mit Sauna und badetonne ausklingen lassen. Unser Sohn hat sich sehr über die Kiste mit Lego gefreut die im Haus stand und auch sonst sind Gesellschaftsspiele, Flyer für Aktivitäten usw im Haus vorhanden. Alles in allem hatten wir einen sehr schönen Aufenthalt.

Wunderschöne Holzhütte im Wald

Es war ein sehr schöner Aufenthalt in einer bezaubernden Holzhütte im norwegischen Wald. Eine sehr ruhige Lage. Jederzeit zu empfehlen. Für die Ordnung und Sauberkeit ist jeder selbst verantwortlich, da man das Haus wieder reinigen muss.

Erholung in einem komfortablen Ferienhaus mitten im Wald

Das Ferienhaus liegt mitten im Wald in sehr ruhiger Lage. Gut: - Sehr komfortabel - Ausgestattet mit fast allem was man benötigt - Feuerholz ist inklusive - Ideal als Ausgangspunt für Wanderungen auf Stord - Toller Außenpool (AUCHTUNG das Anheizen von kaltem Wasser dauert 4-5 Stunden), Der Whirlpool Schalter (eine Sicherung) ist hinter einer Klappe am Pool (sehr laut) Weniger gut: - Die betten sind Einzelbetten - Kein WLAN

Super locatie!

Wat een toffe locatie. Gewoonweg geweldig. Het eiland Stord is prachtig en erg rustig. Je komt nauwelijks mensen tegen tijdens de mooie wandelingen in de natuur. Ook kun je zwemmen in het water van de fjord. Het huisje staat echt middenin het bos. Je bent echt alleen. Uitzonderlijk! Je hoeft het eiland niet af om prachtige natuur te zien. Het huisje is van alle gemakken voorzien. Met een gezin van 5 is het wel vol! Met name omdat de slaapkamer boven geen deur heeft. De trap loopt via de woonkamer en de kamer staat ook in open verbinding met de woonkamer. Er is geen traphekje dus kleine kinderen kunnen er niet slapen. Daarvoor is de trap echt te steil en de verbinding te open. De sauna en hottub zijn een fijne toevoeging. Maar wij hebben daar nauwelijks gebruik van gemaakt. We zijn heerlijk op pad geweest. Aanrader: de trappen naar de waterval beklimmen. Paar minuten rijden vanaf het huisje en dan een leuke klim naar boven. Bij het huisje is ook een beekje. Kinderen vermaken zich daar heerlijk. Wat wij wel vervelend vinden is dat het huisje stoffig was en de toppings op de bedden vies. Ook bijvoorbeeld de kussens op de stoelen waren vies. We hebben eerst zelf goed schoongemaakt en de toppings van de matrassen (beschermhoezen) gewassen. Daar zaten veel vlekken in. Dat was een teleurstelling. We moesten het huis ook goed stofzuigen want er lag veel vuil. Er zijn maar een paar glazen. Met een gezin van 5 is dat niet fijn. Maar buiten dat: huur het huisje!!!

Hei, vi er leie for at det denne gangen viste seg å ikke være så reint som vi hadde blitt lovet. Det har dessverre skjedd ved en feil på grunn av ferieavvikling. Prima voor wandelingen

We hebben het huisje gekozen voor de wandelingen op Stord. Prima bevallen. Start van wandelingen vlakbij. Modern en smaakvol ingericht en voorzien van alle gemakken. Optie om schoon te laten maken ipv alles zelf doen is een suggestie.
