About Mary Bollinger
I grew up in the Philadelphia area and my husband Vince is from Northern Virginia. We met while working and studying in NYC. We have moved around quite a bit, living on both coasts and in the middle of the country before finally settling in Harrisburg, PA. We have always loved the beach and spent many vacation weeks at various beaches up and down the East Coast and in California.

Why Mary Bollinger chose Bethany Beach
Visiting a friend at Sea Colony 2 summers ago while on a lacrosse tournament tour with my oldest son, I fell in love with Bethany Beach. The immaculate beach, the quiet town, the excellent restaurants and the oceanfront luxury provided by the Sea Colony complex all beckoned to me. When I told Vince I wanted to buy a condo that had just come on the market, he happily agreed. We completed a gut renovation to our condo in the spring of 2014 and spent many relaxing weeks there that summer. But reality beckons, and with 3 busy teenagers and college looming, we need to share our space in order to fully enjoy it. We hope your family finds it as comfortable and beautiful as we do, and comes back to enjoy the summer pleasures that Bethany offers again and again.
What makes this Condo unique
We fell in love with the area first and then with Island House. We love the privacy of our unit. It is the last of the 9 Sea Colony buildings and far enough away from the center of the complex that there is a sense of privacy. Because we step directly from our unit onto the decking, we rarely use the elevator and have easy access from the beach to our unit when we need a lunch break. We are also steps away from the large outdoor pool and fitness area in the Edgewater complex. There is a small convenience store here as well for those mornings when we run out of half-and-half for our coffee!
