About Berrie Ives
We live in the area and love it! Brian was raised just a few miles west in Green Mountain Falls. Berrie grew up in Florida and other places, but has called Colorado home since 2000.
Berrie Ives purchased this Cabin in 2002
Why Berrie Ives chose Cascade
We fell in love with the views and the history of the house. It was previously owned by the famed Unser racing family. We are big fans of the Pikes Peak Hill Climb and enjoy knowing that our home is permanently affiliated with the race. The area is perfect for nature lovers and we take advantage of the trails and scenery at every opportunity.
What makes this Cabin unique
The cabin is perfectly situated between the beautiful city of Colorado springs and the mountains of Ute pass and beyond. You can be downtown or deep into the forest in a matter of minutes. The elevation makes for cooler summer days and the views are awe inspiring. Woodland park is seven miles west with shopping, restaurants and lots of fun activities.

Beautiful inside & out!
There are three outside sitting areas! We saw antelope twice while at the property. Location was perfect! Berrie had snacks for us upon our arrival & bagels too! She was very welcoming toward our entire family!
Charming, cozy and convenient
Great central location for all the activities in the Pikes Peak area. The house was clean, comfortable and had everything we needed for our week-long stay -- great bathrooms, a well-stocked kitchen, a laundry and spaces to relax and enjoy the views. It's a nicely decorated place and it's clear that the owners have put a lot of effort into the house. Definitely has that 'home away from home' feel. We would stay here again!
