3 Bedrooms, 1 Bath, Sleeps 6
This is a 3 bedroom, 1 bath farmhouse that is located on a 30 acre certified organic farm within the Eugene city boundaries. The farm has over 2,000 feet of frontage on the Willamette River.
The farmhouse has been redone but still has the original wooden floors, an insert fireplace and it is on its own 2 acre lot. Note, it is a home from the 50's and is nice and spacious but is not a deluxe luxury accommodation. There's no DVD player, big screen TV etc.... but there is a beautiful, quiet setting for you to enjoy (and fast wifi).
Each room is decorated with furniture and items from the owner's years of living overseas.
Guests are free to walk to the river (about a 5 minute walk), see the horse stables, visit the organic farm (or even pitch in and help if they desire!)

About Property Manager/Owner
I am a "semi retired" educator who has had the great experience of living and working overseas for the 16 years. I ran the farm from afar and came and worked all summer each year to try and keep things up (it didn't work very well :>). Now, I am home and loving being able to work the land and live on this beautiful piece of property year round. I live on the property further back.. My son and my mother, who's 87 years young work here most days and we have Wwoofers (from the World Wide Organization of Organic Farms) who live here for various lengths of time to learn farming.
Property Manager/Owner purchased this Farmhouse in 2001
Why Property Manager/Owner chose Lane County
It's unique. It is a working certified organic farm and it has beautiful river frontage. I have also decorated the house with items that I obtained while living abroad. (Please note that it's about a 5 minute walk to the river's edge from the house). Guests can observe a real working farm and buy fresh, organic produce right from the farm!
What makes this Farmhouse unique
A person can bike from here easily and/or hike the property or the old boat landing at the end of the road. It's a unique opportunity to visit a farm and see all of the animals and crops.

Lovely spot, convenient location, friendly people
We had a great time on & off the farm
Very interesting working farm.
Everyone was most helpful and wanted to do whatever they could to make our stay comfortable.
Privacy and quiet at this off the beaten path farmhouse
Had a very quiet and restful stay at this quaint little farmhouse outside of Eugene. We were in town to visit family and didn't want to stay downtown at a chain hotel surrounded by college students. The house was clean and beautifully decorated. My daughters loved the flock of turkeys that came to visit each morning. Just a short walk down to the river.
Thoroughly enjoyed our stay!
The surroundings are peaceful, beds are comfortable and the people on the farm are helpful and kind. We couldn’t ask for anything better!
Nice farmhouse in a quiet setting!
This farmhouse is as the owner has described it in the listing. It is in a very quiet neighborhood and just a short walk to the river, which we enjoyed doing. With a little notice to the owner you can have a smoothie and organic greens delivered right to the front door. It served our needs well and we would book here again.
This is the perfect place for an introvert! Its quiet, and peaceful. Yet it isn't far from a store, and only 20min drive to down town Eugene .Take advantage of the farm, and walk around, but please read the rules.
The House: Its older so don't expect anything fancy. Everything runs and works great! The wifi connection is fast! Down Load:47.95 Mbps Upload:6.01pinging at 8ms.
We only slept in the Masterbedroom , and the bed is comfy. Also even tho there are Rooster on the property you wont hear them until after 8, and that's if you're in the kitchen with the window open. Also the house stays cool in the summer. We only used the A/C that's in the living room when it reached over 90. At night it cools offs(Aug 2017)
Pets:( upon approval ) They must stay in the kitchen, laundry room or garage area(it was big enough for our 3 dogs 2 large 1 small) They have a large pen to the left of the house that they can run around in. They're allowed on the farm but must be on a leash at all times. (wouldn't want them to get the chickens or get hurt) You can walk them down the street that leads to a trail that takes you to the river. It was a boat landing so the first 1/2 is shallow then it dips down. The water is very clear so you can see where it does. Our fur babies loved it! but please don't under estimate the waters current
Shaundele The owner lives on the property, and respects your privacy. Shes very nice, and welcoming! Try her menu you wont regret it! We can't wait to go back, and visit her and her farm.In the morning you can see the horses gazing the land from the kitchen or living room along with the turkeys. Small wild birds come and eat off the land as well. Atticus the Elglish Collie is very friendly. He protects his family on the farm by making rounds by the kitty house, chickens, and horses. He also loves showing you the river that runs along the back of the farm. which is very quiet. You can even Volunteer to work on the farm with the other Volunteers which was very fun to do!
