3+ Bedrooms, 3 1/2 Baths In A Spacious, Private Log Cabin On 35 Acres With Views
This log cabin is the quiet retreat that the doctor ordered for your get-away from stress and the pressures of your fast-paced life. It is located on 35 acres in a gated community and a 20 minute drive from the Royal Gorge with its rafting and sight-seeing activities. It is cozy and charmingly decorated. It is truly a quiet getaway. There is Direct TV, WiFi and a land line phone, but no reliable cell service.
The cabin has three levels. On the lower level walk out there is a bedroom with queen bed and a large bath and a bunk area that sleeps 4. The family room includes a TV and DVD player (including some family DVDs), a piano and game table.
The main level kitchen is furnished with everything necessary for your cooking needs. There is a glass topped stove, granite counter tops, mixer, coffee maker, coffee grinder, microwave and blender. It has excellent water with a 700 foot well. The great room is furnished with leather couches in front of a pellet stove which operates on a thermostat with supplemental electric heat. The master bedroom is located on this level as well as laundry facilities.
The upper level consists of a bedroom with queen bed, bathroom and a loft overlooking the great room. You'll enjoy relaxing in the leather recliner with beautiful views of the pine covered hills.
There is a closet full of games and puzzles and a large, carpeted loft in the garage that is a favorite play area for kids and teens. This area is accessed by a ladder and should be used with caution.
The wrap-around deck is ideal for relaxing, eating outside, watching the wildlife, feeding the hummingbirds, or observing the nighttime stars from the telescope. The north and south sides are covered for daytime shade and there are chairs for relaxing as well as a large table for family meals. A BBQ grill is kept in the garage and can easily be rolled out to the patio for your BBQ dinners.

Fantastic get away
We all loved the rental. It was just perfect for our family. We wanted for nothing. Every thing you can think of was provided. If you want to just get away from it all it is perfect. If you want to see the sites and do activities in the area it is too far away from everything. You would want to pick something not so remote. The view was beautiful.
Great Place, Great Views
We stayed recently and had a great stay. Place was as described and lived up to the pictures. No picture could, however, do justice to the views of this hilltop cabin up Delilah Peak. Amazing. We did have a maintenance issue on the first day, but the owners were extremely quick to respond and the issue was resolved. We'd go back again. Thanks for a great stay!
We had a wonderful time. The interior decorations are fantastic. The kitchen was stocked with every thing needed to cook. There was a welcoming bottle of wine, popcorn, coffee, creamers, ketchup, mustard, mayonnaise, and all other kinds of spices.
The outdoor views are out of this world. Everyone, grand kids and adults alike had space where we could either gather or get away for some quite time.
The location was just perfect. We jeeped (Grand Kids description) the area, enjoyed the Royal Gorge, got wet while white water rafting, multiple deer sightings, visited wineries, went fly fishing, enjoyed pizza and souvenir shopping in Canon City.
The grand kids were already asking "When can we come back"? before we left.
Thank you for allowing us to stay in your beautiful, spacious cabin for our vacation.

Amazing Vacation Home!!!
We have been vacationing in colorado for the past 6 years and this home is by far the best! There are 3 levels, so even when travelling with a large group you still have a sense of privacy if needed. The deck is huge with lots of outdoor seating/dining areas that call to your soul. I have never left a review before, but this home deserves 5 stars and more.
