Great place for a family gathering
Despite it being the hottest weekend of the summer, we had a great time. The outdoor pool and wading pool were a big hit with the grand kids. The house was comfortable for us - 6 adults and 4 kids. It will be even better when they add their new windows this year so there are screens and windows that keep heat/cold out. I wouldn't call it a 3 bath since one toilet (no sink) and shower are in the hot tub room. A shower that opens into a room without shades doesn't get too much use! It was really nice to have a living room separate from the bedroom area.
Glad you enjoyed the toasty weekend and thanks for putting up with the window screens. Fair point on the 3rd bathroom. It's never bothered us, but should be pointed out for others. I've already added some notes about it for future guests. Thanks!

Spent 3 nights here with my family of 6. Yes, it was a bit over-sized for us, but we planned it that way, plenty of room to spread out. The neighborhood has a 10:00 PM quiet time, and it seemed to be followed by everyone, but even during the day it was pretty peaceful.
This house has pretty much everything you need to move into for a few days, or a few weeks. The owner was very responsive to communication. We really enjoyed our stay here and are already thinking about next year.
Love the community! House is nice and big!
Colin's cabin was perfect for our stay. We had 4 children + 3 adults and didn't even use all the bedrooms available. The house has all the amenities needed for a fun family vacation. The hot tub was a bonus for us when we originally made our reservation... but to be honest, there are so many other things to do, we didn't even use it. Kids loved the playground and the clubhouse pool; adults fell in love with the gorgeous and relaxing surroundings. What a memorable trip we had! Tip for other travelers: as long as you have a 4-wheel drive vehicle, make the trip up to Twin Lakes. Hair-raising drive up and down the mountain, but worth the view (and the kids got to play in snow despite the weather being nearly 70 at the top of the mountain)!
Spacious Cabin, Convenient Location
Came here with a large group of fourteen work friends for a weekend hiking getaway. The cleaning service neglected to come before we arrived late at night, but Colin responded immediately to the issue and the cabin was cleaned early the next day while we were on the trail.
There was more than enough space for all of us, with large, firms beds, comfortable sofas, three full bathrooms, and great outdoor and indoor seating options. We made use of the fire pit for s'mores and two living room spaces for board games. Plentiful kitchen equipment and counter space for cooking, including metal skewers for the fire pit.
We were aware of the 10pm-7am quiet policy and my large group still had a fantastic time. There's a trail just a couple minutes walk from the cabin, which itself is situated right across from the community pond and recreation center. National forest entrance, ranger kiosk, restaurants and groceries within a couple minutes driving radius. Colin is a responsive, accommodating host, and his cabin provided us an unbeatable weekend experience. Highly recommend!
Very nice and comfortable stay, owner very responsive
House is located in a gated community with amenities so safe for kids. We saw lot of families and kids playing around and very pretty satisfied with the ambience. House is a little dated with old furniture but nothing that is broken. So good for a stay. Owner was responsive on email for any questions i had before and during the stay
Great Stay with a Large Family
Great owner who gave lots of information and was prompt with replies. The space was well equipped and had lots of room for our family of 14 (including 4 under 3). This is my second stay and I would book again.
