This cabin is an awesome alternative to tent camping located on the beautiful and historic Bair Ranch in Glenwood Cabin. This one room Cabin offers guests and experience of Rocky Mountain camping with comfort and security. The cabins sit at the edge of a nice little pond spring fed pond. Rather than driving all day to a campsite and fighting to get your tent up, you can arrive at your cabin and set your gear inside, lay out your sleeping bag and enjoy a campfire.
These cabins are one room. There is a front porch where you can set your camp chair and take in a beautiful Colorado evening. In the cabin there is a full bed and a set of bunks. A mattress with fitted sheet is provided and the bunks have covered pads.
There is no bathroom but the bathouse is just a few yards away. In the bath house there are men's and women's showers and restroom facilities.

We spent a night over at the Moose cabin in Bair Ranch.
Amazing location: breathtaking views, close to Glenwood Springs
Far from the roads and highway which is hard to find nowadays!
Super friendly host, Vaniel
Well maintained picnic area and fire pits
Gorgeous little pond in front of the cabins
No electricity which I was completely OK with, but some want to plug in heaters, phones, cameras etc. So take lights for going to the bathroom, and your cabin.
Would be much better if the dirt road leading to the cabins had a few signs because we got lost which turned out to be a fun drive up the wrong road!
I definitely do recommend trying out this place.
Beautiful country side, relaxing, private, rustic cabin experience.
My 2 older children and I really enjoyed our stay in the cabin at the Blair Ranch. We were greeted by the owner and guided up to our cabin. It was clean and comfortable. The road up the mountain was questionable with our lower profile vehicle, but with cautious navigation over washouts it was no problem. We had planned on tenting but with the storms and rain that were happening daily we really wanted a roof. This was perfect! We saw elk or deer from our cabin porch each day. On the last day as my daughter and I were trying to convince my 17 year old son to help get things packed up and out, we caught him saying goodbye to the chipmunk he'd befriended. I would definitely recommend this property to others looking for a similar experience.
While staying at the Blair Ranch we took advantage of horseback riding and ATV riding, impressive scenery and lots of it. The owners, staff and rides were all outstanding! Thanks for making our family vacation a pleasant and memorable one!
It's exactly what you would picture if you thought of a cabin in a mountain meadow
EVERYONE was friendly and very accommodating. We had almost 40 people in our group as part of a senior class trip, and the cabins & Ike Crek lodge were more than enough to accommodate us. Be aware that if it rains thing will get slick and muddy, and if it rains hard/long enough, it could make them impassable. It's a 10 minute drive to Glenwood Springs, so easily accessible to the hot springs or supplies. A great stay & I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for a mountain get away with a rustic feel.
