Just spent over a week here it's a fab place, everything you need. Sue made contact on our 2nd day to check all OK, which it was. A flat walk into the village with pubs restaurants and a few shops. Beach is amazing. Would recommend to anybody looking for a quiet place to stay. Plenty of places to visit in a close vicinity and a regular bus service available if required.

We were very happy with our stay, the only slight problem was that my husband being slightly disabled had trouble going down steps at first, but we managed them eventually!
Das Ferienhaus liegt in einer einfachen Wohnsiedlung - sehr ruhig, mit Parkplatz direkt gegenüber. Die Wohnung ist sehr sauber, einfach aber liebevoll möbliert - besonders in Küche und Bad ist alles vorhanden was im täglichen Leben benötigt wird. Eine eingezäunte Terrasse hinten, ein kleiner Wintergarten und ein eingezäunter Vorgarten sind ideal für Hundebesitzer oder Paare mit kleinen Kindern. Die Lage ist perfekt - 2 min bis zum Supermarkt oder zur Stadtmitte - ca 4 min zum Strand ( Hundestrand hinter Sandymere ist TOP) oder zu einer tollen Wander- Lauf- und Hundestrecke (hinter Pier House). Sehr nette und freundliche Kommunikation mit der Besitzerin des Ferienhauses. Wir haben uns dort sehr wohl gefühlt und einen TOP Sommerurlaub in Westward Ho! verbracht !
Ideal for a small family break.
Only drawbacks is only one toilet and the curtains in the back bedroom could do with blackout lining.

Thank you Michael for your review. The maximum no of guests permitted is four, so I think one toilet is adequate. Perhaps you didn't notice, but both bedrooms have black out blinds
The property really needs an update. Really only big enough for 2 adults a 2 young children.
Needs updating. Better photos on advertisement would be better. Need some curtains at the back door as the bowling club lights, light up the back of the property all night. For those days when the weather isn’t great, better seating to make it a more comfortable stay home n the main room. Settee was uncomfortable. Do the electrics need an over haul lots of extension leads about?. Ok as a base if that is all you want. As a holiday home wouldn’t recommend it. Very friendly people and lovely tea shop in Westwood ho. Beech was fab too

Thanks for leaving property clean & tidy. We will put new photo's with advert. I don't agree back door needs curtains, you don't sleep in the kitchen. The reclining settee is made by "Stressless" probably, the best make you can get, you obviously did not find the knobs under the seat to be able to adjust the seat, we have now left some instructions. The electric certificate was issued Oct. 2017 & lasts for 5 years.
Small but adequate for us and our 2 pups and dog frendly area

All you need
A small bungalow but we had all we need. Kitchen well equipped so there was no problem preparing meals. The only things missing were pizza cutter, washing up liquid and hand soap, which was rather annoying as we didn't think of taking any. However, it's located in a very quiet spot and very close to the beach and shops. We enjoyed our stay.

We had a lovely holiday 🤓🤓🤓
We spoke to the owners during our stay and they were very charming and helpful.
The location of the property was excellent. Near to the golf links near a beautiful dog friendly beach. Walking to Appledore was very easy from our location. Walking into the main part of westward Ho! Was an easy 10 mins on level ground no hills.
The accommodation was clean and pleasant with secure front and rear gardens for our dogs.
As the saying goes it gets a 10 from Len

Sehr zuvorkommende Vermieter, gute Unterkunft
Die Ferienwohnung ist etwas älteren Baujahres, entspricht aber einem guten britischem Standard. Es war weitestgehend sehr sauber, allerdings könnte das Besteck und das Geschirr teilweise mal grundgereinigt werden. Uns hat es gut gefallen, auch weil der Vermieter anbot, uns wegen der langen Anreise aus Deutschland, Bettwäsche und Handtücher zur Verfügung zu stellen. Das war sehr sehr nett, vielen herzlichen Dank dafür! :)
