Why Jennifer Leaders chose Duck Creek Village
Our good friends own a cabin in the area and they would often extend our family an invitation to come stay with them. Every time we did, we had so much fun and would find ourselves saying...I wish we could have a cabin of our own. The day we decided to buy, we looked at 20+ cabins and it was this one that we feel in love with. It had everything we needed and thought it had the most potential. The cabin was a bit dated and shortly after purchasing it, we made some much needed upgrades. All of the furnishings are new and the carpet and vinyl flooring on the lower level is all new too. Eventually, we would like to update the kitchen, bathrooms and laundry room. However, for now they are functioning and in time will be remodeled.

Overall very nice, clean, well-equipped kitchen & grill, which was important since we like to cook. The only downside to this experience was the sofa beds, pretty thin or worn out, could feel the coils and was very uncomfortable, so had to find other ways to get comfortable to sleep. Besides that, great place, nice & quiet location, very relaxing.
The cabin was amazing and wonderful. It was clean, well stocked and very comfortable. We enjoyed our stay there very much. This was a very nice place that had everything we needed. The setting is beautiful and we loved it there.
Comfortable Cozy Cabin
This cabin really was a home away from home. It was really clean and beautifully decorated. It was rustic yet had many touches of modern conveniences. I would come back again and would highly recommend.
Cozy Cabin Getaway
Extremely happy with our stay! Online photos show a quaint cozy cabin, it is even better in person. Ample space for family and dogs with 2 levels of living space. Beautiful upgraded kitchen. Comfortable beds. Quiet neighborhood but close enough to the Village of Duck Creek if needed for food run. We would definitely stay here again when we return to Utah.
Beautiful comfortable cabin. wish we'd known before the email Wednesday that in rainy weather a 4-wheel drive is needed. Because of the storm coming in we "checked out" on Sunday instead of Monday. Thanks for the opportunity to be in such a beautiful peaceful place.
A Weather Adventure plus Bryce Canyon
The cabin is just beautiful! I love to cook. The kitchen had all I needed to prepare our meals. As instructed, we brought plenty of our own supplies. We shopped at Walmart in Richfield just off I-70. Traveling with my adult son, we had plenty of private space as well as time together. In May, as expected, we had days of snow and watching the changing landscape was truly enchanting. Bryce Canyon is a short drive. The first day we went, the snow was so intense we were unable to see the hoodoos and other points of interest. The next day was sunny and we returned to enjoy all the views that one can absorb in a day. Zion is another short drive away.
Cedar City has all that one needs, including a TJ Maxx! We had an issue with a windshield wiper. At O'Rielly's, a lovely associate fixed it in a minute. When my son asked her what he owed her, she smiled and responded, "Just say, 'Thank you.'"
The Empty Nest was truly a full nest during a week in May 2019.
Medical services and local hospital are located in cedar city, utah which is approx. 33 miles from the cabin.
