El amplio salón / comedor tiene capacidad para 10 personas, incluyendo un sofá cama doble, un televisor y un reproductor de Blu Ray, y la moderna iluminación regulable. Hay un aseo en la planta baja con lavabo y WC y porche.



La cocina, recientemente renovada, está totalmente equipada con horno doble, placa de inducción, microondas empotrado, lavavajillas, nevera / congelador grande y lavadora.



La sala de jardín es una habitación doble con una puerta que se abre al patio y tiene un gran cuarto de baño privado con lavabo y WC, y es adecuado para personas con movilidad reducida.



En la primera planta hay 3 dormitorios y un baño familiar con vistas al mar sobre el puerto.



El dormitorio más grande tiene dos camas individuales con espacio para una cuna, y un cuarto de baño privado con lavabo y WC.



Los otros 2 dormitorios comparten el cuarto de baño con bañera, ducha en bañera, lavabo y WC. Un dormitorio tiene dos camas individuales y el otro tiene literas.



La casa tiene calefacción central de gas con agua caliente constante y se incluye wi fi de banda ancha.



El jardín trasero aislada es plana y perfecta para juegos de pelota o de relax en el césped. Cuenta con un gran patio con muebles de exterior para 10 personas y un invernadero independiente con asientos, luz y electricidad.

Stay in Emsworth

I can’t say enough positives about the location of this home! It is literally one minute from the foot path along the water and within 15 minute walk to village restaurants and ice cream shop, which was so nice for morning and evening walks with our two young children. The house itself is very clean and loves the back garden and ease of parking. The home is not overly well-stocked so make sure to bring extra kitchen roll and all necessities for cooking/cleaning. We were a little disappointed in the communication with the management company and that we were unable to get a one hour grace period on checkout when no one had reserved the home that day. Other than those minor issues I would recommend the home itself for sure!

Great value for money for a group of friends

We had an excellent stay at Still Waters. The location is beautiful with sea views and walks from the doorstep. The layout of the property is ideal for a group of friends with a big living room and dining table, the kitchen is also more than enough for everyone to be stood in (we had 8 people for one of the nights). The garden is stunning so we spend most of the time around the garden table. Some of the furniture is a bit dated such as the bedding and sofas, but this didn't bother us at all being a group of friends. It had most things we needed but didn't provide too many extras, we could have done with a few more loo rolls and more bin bags etc. The door also locks behind you so just worth bearing this in mind!! I would definitely recommend this accommodation for groups of friends looking for a nice relaxing stay in Emsworth.

Excellent location

Still Waters is just that! the water is just 50 metres at the end of the road- with lovely views and easy walking. The house itself has very generous sized rooms and is very well equipped. There is plenty of parking too.

Good house in great location

Ideal place for our family gathering with lots of space for 8 people and 4 cars. All as described on website but slightly disappointed that beds weren't made up when we arrived and some of the sheets were damp.

Towels

This is our third visit to Still Waters it is a superb holiday let providing everything for 4 adults and 2 children for our stay. My only complaint was about the state of the towels, they smelled of smoke! We have not had this problem before and was corrected by airing the towels on the line for a few hours.

Lovely very quiet

The property was very dusty we had to do a clean on arrival of floors and surfaces. Maybe as we were first occupants since lockdown!? The beds could do with being updated (doubles or zip and link) and larger bedlinen as the single covers are tiny. (We are not large people.) But overall the house was very warm and welcoming. The cleaning package was excellent. Garden lovely. The outhouse/sunroof very dirty needs a paint and clean. Excellent walk to town and Hayling. Kitchen had everything we needed and plenty of space for us all very comfortably. Would love to come back. We locked ourselves out ( very easily done) and the Lady was extremely helpful and came within 45mins to help us out! Thank you.

Long weekend in Emsworth.

Continued problems with electrical outages marred our stay. The letting agent was very responsive to our call regarding this but we still had to reset breakers after power was lost later during our stay. Thankfully we had two handy men with us. The house came with enough dishes for at least 20 people but without a full roll of paper towels or enough dishwasher detergent for our stay (5 days). I don't expect to have to buy things like this that come only in large quantities especially when arriving from overseas. Would have loved to have a broom to sweep the kitchen floor. It would help to have directions on how to use the TV and its remotes. Loved the location and were perfectly comfortable once the power and wi-fi were restored.

Thank you for your feedback. From what i understand the only electrical outage was on the first day of your stay, we didn't have anything further reported. We sent over the cleaners immediately and they were with you when you flipped the fuse board switch . We do not send out maintenance for fuses. When you said you were concerned about the electrics we then sent over an electrician who checked everything over and he found now faults. He has since carried out a full electrical test and found no faults. As we explained to you at the time we do not provide toilet rolls for an entire stay, particularly at the moment we are unable to over stock. Detergent for the dishwasher is provided but we do not provide this for more than one wash a day. I will pass on your feedback re- the room and television notes. I'm glad you like the location and hope that you will return to Emsworth.

A great stay but it could have been fantastic

We enjoyed a wonderful stay at Still Waters at the end of June and would highly recommend it. Unfortunately several small points let the house down from being absolutely superb, and could easily be rectified by the owner and management company. They should not put prospective occupants off, but alerted to what to anticipate. PLUS POINTS • The house has an excellent internal layout and spacious, private garden. Plenty of furniture for dining and relaxing, though some relocation of settees is necessary to allow more than 4 to be able to view the TV. • It is ideally situated just yards from the seafront of this attractive and interesting seaside location, allowing great walks along the coast and into the town. • Also easy reach of many local places of interest - the coast and RSPB centres, Fishbourne Roman Palace, Petworth House, Arundel Castle and the Weald Folk Museum. • First impressions on arrival were excellent and being largely refurbished recently then modern kitchen facilities were a great asset with more than ample crockery/cutlery including mugs and glasses – but sadly no kitchen roll was provided, which is rather essential. • The beds were very comfortable with the provision of small torches in each bedroom a nice touch, though perhaps extension cables to access the electric sockets located behind the beds would have been more useful. NEGATIVE POINTS • The house was generally clean and tidy but the tops of steel bins in bathrooms were dusty and unpleasantly sticky while the bathroom mirrors needed a good clean and there was obvious rust on the shower curtain rail. • Having said that there is a severe lack of any mirrors in bathrooms/en suites (none in the bedrooms) as has been observed in earlier reviews. • Small shaving mirrors were all that are provided in the bathroom but with no flat surface there to put it on this proved difficult to use balanced on the edge of the sink. • The silicone sealing gasket on the plug in the bathroom was missing so shaving there became quite a challenge as you could not fill the sink and had to keep the water running permanently. • As the house could have taken up to 10 guests, then we felt the provision of just two spare toilet rolls overall was rather inadequate as replacements for the part-used ones provided in the four toilets – 2 en-suites, bathroom and downstairs WC. • The house booklet could be more helpful with with stripped down, basic one-page instructions e.g. for the cooker and hob – one doesn’t want to spend time reading through 20 pages of the provided original cooker manual to find how to switch it on. • Also this house booklet while emphasising the need to put out the refuse bins for collection every Thursday, one has to again search for which week of the cycle one is dealing with (recycling or general rubbish), and it would be useful to be told which type of rubbish goes into which coloured bin. Each county seems to use different colours. • Tide timetables provided expired 4 months prior to our visit so were replaced – crucial if attempting a coastal walk. • We enjoyed the many restaurants in Emsworth most days but, when we decided to prepare our meal in the house, our biggest shock was finding burnt-on food in a saucepan and garlic remnants left in the garlic press. Not the sort of things you would expect housekeeping staff to monitor normally and we would lay no blame to them - but just reflected some careless or uncaring previous occupiers, so worth noting by the management. We ensured all our utensils and cutlery/crockery was left spotless, but management may consider that perhaps all needs a blitz clean – and a quick glance by the housekeepers after each occupancy in future – perhaps before the deposit is refunded. • A minor complaint noted by previous reviews and probably unresolvable at this time, is that in such a well refurbished house every tread of the stairs squeaks considerably in use. It’s addressing little things like these that would turn this really great and economical house into one rated as spectacular by guests.

Fantastic peaceful location, great private garden, lots of space inside!

We've just returned from a week at Still Waters with my extended family. All agreed it was a fantastic location, literally steps from the tidal beach and ten minutes picturesque walk from lovely pub and cafes in Emsworth. The house was large and spacious with plenty of room to eat together inside and out, a huge lounge with three sofas and plenty of beds. The beds were comfortable although we'd have liked the layout to allow for the twin bedded rooms to be used as double beds more easily. Everything we needed was there and the new kitchen and bathrooms were clean and fresh. The garden was large and private with a patio and lots of seating for everyone. Our only suggestions would be more lamps, mirrors and electric sockets please! Really minor criticisms as we had such a great holiday we would definitely rebook for next year.

A great location

A lovely house and location, Had to deal with a wasp nest in roof but this was soon resolved. Only negative point was that there were quite a few cobwebs indoors 😏 Lovely garden.

Lovely house. Beautiful garden. The blossom was out on the tree. The location was perfect. Constructive criticism. The house could do with a spruce up in the living area. The sofa's are at the end of their lives. Rather hard. The rug on the floor needs changing. It just looks dirty. Complaints would be... The kettle was so furred up we used a saucepan to boil water. I slept on the bottom bunk bed. The mattress has ridges that dig in. I used the duvet from the top bunk to lie on. It solved the issue! When stripping the beds at the end of the stay I discovered the pillow was completely stained both sides. Fortunately I had taken a pillow with me and hadn't laid directly on it. Just because the room would mostly be used by children, doesn't mean it should be sub standard. However, I'm told all the other beds were very comfortable. The bathrooms were all good. We did have a great stay especially after a year at home! I would stay there again.

Excellent property let down by poor cleaning routine.

Our third stay in this lovely cottage was completely spoilt when we arrived to find that the state of cleanliness was well below expectations. It was absolutely apparent that no Covid 19 cleaning protocols had been carried out (especially as we had been asked to arrive an hour later than normal for them to complete the extra cleaning involved.) Would recommend this property to others if the owners/Henry Adams could guarantee that even basic cleaning (ie:-kitchen surfaces, cupboards, cooker,sink, cutlery and crockery)

We stayed at Still Waters for Christmas and loved it. The house is very spacious with plenty of seating for everyone. The location is superb, very close to a lovely waterside walk into the village. We would definitely stay again but now have a dog so sadly won't be able to.

Our 2nd time staying there

This is a very lovely home. This is still the owners vacation home when they come to town. It is in excellent shape. Everything you would need for a short or long stay. First time we stayed there for 30+ days. This time 10 days. Our daughter & family live 3 blocks away. If I were to go back to Emsworth I would definitely stay there again. Can't give a better rating then that. All the comforts of home.

We've stayed at Still Waters before and it is a great house for a large family. Very comfortable and well equipped. My only complaint is that the single beds only have single duvets on them. These are really not big enough for adults on cold winters nights and we would have appreciated either larger duvets or extra bedspreads/blankets. Fortunately some of our party were coming later and brought a large pile of duvets with them so we managed OK in the end. But, apart from that one thing, everything else was great.
