Location was really special

The town of Hondarriba is very special with easy access to San Sebastián by bus. We were so glad to have stayed in such a place of history, beauty and charm. Our host, Alvaro, was excellent and we felt well cared for.

A wonderful property in the heart of the old town, furnished and equipped to a high standard and very comfortable. Easily accessible, quiet and with everything you need on your doorstep.Hondarribia is warm and welcoming. Our host was amazing, attentive, informative and available.

Perfect Apartment!

We enjoyed our stay in Hondarribia and the owner, Al, was super. There was everything there that one would need, even cough drops! Perfect location in the 14th century old town. Just a note that this is not a two-bedroom but a one bedroom with a large space nicely enclosed as a nook with two good-sized twin beds.

A gem

Wonderful stay in this cute, well-kept apartment. It has everything and it close to everything. Alvaro was responsive and went out of his way to make sure we were comfortable. If there are people partying in the plaza nearby, you'll hear it, but that's the price you pay for staying in the middle of the charming old part of town. Absolutely lovely.

Wir waren 2 Wochen in der Wohnung und haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Albatros war ein hervorragender Gastgeber und hat sich regelrecht um uns gekümmert. Die Lage ist fantastisch und könnte zentraler nicht sein. Alles ist fußläufig. Einziges Manko: man hört doch immer Mal wieder etwas von der Straße, aber das ist in Spanien so.

Álvaro nos recibió personalmente y muy amablemente nos llevó hasta el apartamento. Muy buena comunicación desde el 1er momento. El apartamento es tal y cómo aparece en las fotos o incluso mejor porque el entorno es precioso, en pleno casco antiguo. Esta muy limpio, muy bien equipado, no le falta detalle, moderno y funcional ; es muy acogedor. Hemos pasado unos días estupendos, volveremos!! Gracias! Blanca.

Mega tolle Lage

Wir hatten einen wunderschönen Aufenthalt, das Badeboot nach Hendaye ist schnell erreicht, Hondarribia hat alles was man sich wünscht fußläufig! Alvaro hat sich mit uns am kostenfreien nahen Parkplatz getroffen und uns und das Gepäck zur Unterkunft gefahren. Perfekt! Die Wohnung ist genau wie auf den Bildern und hat auch das Wichtigste zum Kochen, aber auch ein Frühstückscafe ist direkt gegenüber! Wir waren sehr zufrieden!

Ein toller Urlaub im Baskenland

Wir waren eine Woche in Hondarribia und haben uns hier sehr wohl gefühlt. Alvaro ist ein sehr zuvorkommender, herzlicher und sehr hilfsbereiter Gastgeber. Uns hat es an nichts gefehlt und er stand uns immer mit Rat und Tat zur Seite. Die Wohnung ist noch schöner als auf den Fotos und toll gelegen in der Altstadt von Hondarribia, tagsüber quirllig und nachts ruhig. Die Altstadt, das Hafenviertel und der Strand von Hendaye sind schon alleine eine Reise ins Baskenland wert. Wir kommen gerne wieder! Eskerrik asko! Familie Kentel

Wir kommen gern wieder!

Gemütliche kleine Wohnung in einem alten Haus in Hondarribias pittoresker historischer Altstadt. Sehr sauber und gut ausgestattet, kühl auch bei Hitze. Viele kleine, gute und preiswerte Restaurants/Bars/Cafés in Laufweite. Alvaro ist ein sehr sympathischer und stets hilfsbereiter Gastgeber! Sowohl die Wohnung als auch der Ort Hondarribia sind definitiv empfehlenswert, wir kommen gern wieder.

Hidden Gem

Alvaro was incredibly easy to deal with. He arranged our pick up and drop off transport from the train station in Hendaye France. He was more than accommodating regarding our arrival and departure times. He gave us all kinds of insight into where to go and what to do. He provided very good restaurant recommendations. He checked on us frequently to make sure we were OK and to ask if we needed anything. We did not need anything .The apartment had everything you could possibly need for a short or long stay. The bathroom and kitchen were well equipped and worked perfectly. The bedrooms and living room were comfortable and very nicely decorated. It had a small balcony that overlooks a street in the old city, that was constantly busy during the day with locals and tourists, yet surprisingly quiet at night. From the balcony you could also see the Paradore/castle and the square in front of it, which was always bustling. Despite all these great features the location is the best feature. You are living like a local in the old city, but 10 minutes walk (and we are in our 70's) and you are in the newer, restaurant, shopping district and at the ferry to the beach in France. This might be the perfect vacation rental

Semana Santa perfecta

Alojamiento en el casco antiguo de Hondarribia, muy céntrico y fiel a como se describe en el anuncio. La casa está totalmente reformada y tiene de todo lo necesario para pasar unos días en esta bonita localidad, la verdad que como leí en otra opinión, cuando llegas después de todo el día de ruta parece que estés como en casa. Álvaro una persona muy cercana y atenta en todo momento de nosotros, sin duda un propietario de 10. Muchas gracias y volveremos seguro.

PISO CÉNTRICO HONDARRIBIA

Todo acorde a lo especificado. Limpio y muy detallista. Anfitrión recomendable 100%. Hemos pasado una semana muy agradable por toda la zona y, aunque pasábamos la mayor parte del día fuera de la vivienda, al llegar era como si te sintieras en tu casa.
