Imagine sipping a cup of coffee watching the sunrise over the city of Colorado Springs while sitting on your own private rooftop deck. After your day of sight seeing you can end your day by drinking a glass of wine watching the sunset over Garden of the Gods on the deck. Once nightfall has come you can then count the stars while enjoying the deck and fire pit. All of nature's bounty is just steps away from our home away from home. Endless hiking & biking trails are literally at your doorstep in our home. Within minutes you can be at all the wonderful attractions the Pikes Peak region has to offer. The quaint charm of Old Colorado City is within minutes with its unique shopping and wonderful dining.

Counting Stars Adobe has a beautiful rooftop deck with gas fire pit overlooking the city of Colorado Springs, Red Rocks Canyon Open Space and the stunning Garden of the Gods. The home has a large master suite with a new plush king size bed and walk-in closet on the main level with an en suite bathroom. There are 2 additional bedrooms in the lower level. One bedroom has a new queen mattress, dresser and closet. The third bedroom has a daybed with a trundle bed for two twin beds. The third bedroom also has a dresser and large closet. The second full bathroom is in the lower level.

After a pleasant day of exploring the area you can come home to our lovely home and relax in front of the TV and electric fireplace. The living area with couch and loveseat has a new smart TV and high speed wireless internet and DVR cable service. So you won't have to miss any of your favorite shows while on vacation. The main floor living room also has a cozy reading nook area. The adobe has a well equipped kitchen and laundry area all conveniently located on the main floor. The eating area is just off the kitchen. The home is tastefully furnished with all new furniture, high quality linens in southwest style. The kitchen is fully stocked with all new supplies. In addition, the pantry has basic supplies provided.

Paradise awaits just outside the front door for bikers, hikers, nature lovers and photographers. Counting Stars Adobe is just one mile from Bear Creek Nature Park Center. Just across the street is the Red Rocks Canyon Open Space with abundant trails to explore. It is a dream location for your biking or hiking vacation. The home also has a 2 car garage so you can safely store your valuable outdoor "toys" while enjoy a night out in the unique flavor of Old Colorado City a short 1/2 mile from your vacation headquarters. In addition Manitou Springs is a short 10 minute drive where you can explore the wonderful shops and dining establishments of this unique mountain town.

Want your vacation to be more relaxing? Just hang out on the rooftop deck and count the stars while you enjoy our lovely Colorado cool evening mountain air. About the owner: My husband and I love the Colorado Springs area are thrilled to be able to call this beautiful area home. We fell in love with this home immediately and decided to make it our "home" away from home and to share this unique living experience with others. The feeling you get from sitting on the roof top deck is unparalleled from most vacation lodging. We have lived all over the world and have moved many times and feel so fortunate to make the Pikes Peak Region our permanent home. We have worked very hard to make this home an unique lodging and "homey" experience for the traveler. We hope this vacation home will become a favorite lifetime memory for you and your family. By also living in the area I am available if the need arises to help your vacation experience be the best it can be.
