Fuga meravigliosa! Un classico sul mare incantato con ampie vedute verso il basso appartato Crocket Cove. Sole pieno, tranquillo, romantico e ben arredato. Viste sorprendenti della baia e dell'enorme fiore selvatico che rotolava riempiva il prato centrale di Cove Meadow. Proprietario Gestito con attenzione ai dettagli e in vista del vostro comfort e godimento di tutto ciò che è qui per sperimentare. . Situato su 10 acri magici di prato prevalentemente aperto, circondato da alberi secolari e foreste ricoperte di muschio con un terzo miglio di costa privata, il cottage ha i suoi esclusivi due acri e 300 piedi di costa. Proprio orto biologico e proprio focolare esclusivo. Uso in comune con altri cottage di due kayak e una canoa. Lancio sul posto per la tua piccola barca. Un rifugio sereno e pacifico per la contemplazione, o un'occasione speciale .. un favorito di scrittori, artisti, fotografi, naturalisti, canoisti esperti, pescatori e astronomi dilettanti. Il sito di lancio di kayak su proprietà offre a esperti kayakisti oceanici una meravigliosa partenza giornaliera per esplorare le molte isole vicine del nostro spettacolare arcipelago nella sicurezza delle acque al di fuori del nostro affollato porto di lavoro. Da luglio a ottobre, poco prima e dopo l'alta marea, pesce persico a strisce dalla nostra riva o in canoa. Vongole deliziose e dolci cozze selvatiche direttamente dalla nostra riva. Aquile, falco pescatore, martin pescatore ogni giorno e qualche foca o lontra occasionali. Letto matrimoniale in Master B / r..Singolo in Guest B / R entrambi vestiti con un'alternativa in piuma sulla cima di buoni materassi, con biancheria da letto molto fine. Cucina moderna e ben attrezzata, bella cena e stoviglie. Bagno attraente con doccia in vetro. Gelatiera, macchina da caffè francese, macchina per caffè espresso, cucina ben attrezzata.

Davvero un taglio sopra la maggior parte delle altre case vacanza sull'isola.

Our stay was lovely and surpassed my expectations. The cottage is nestled on Crockett Cove with plenty of activities to relax, such as an outdoor table on the porch, a fire pit with a nearby grill, shellfish bags to collect clams and muscles during low tide, two kayaks, and a canoe to explore. The cottage interior is cozy and charming with plenty of artwork. The host, Lindsay, was phenomenal from the moment I booked our stay, answering questions and providing us with a guide. Furthermore, this followed suit upon our arrival with recommendations of shops, restaurants, other activities in the area, and even instructions for our lobster bake. It is apparent that she loves to host and is rightfully proud of the cottage she has put together. Truly an unforgettable experience, and I hope to visit again one day.

We had the most incredible time at Cove Meadow! The property is gorgeous and lush with vegetation and wildlife. The cove makes for excellent paddle boarding- we brought our own, but there are kayaks and a canoe for borrowing. Lindsay is a fantastic host and wealth of knowledge- she gave us great suggestions for local nature spots and taught us how to harvest our own muscles right on the cove during low tide. We highly recommend and would love to return!

We had such a wonderful stay! Our host, Lindsay, was so helpful and generous. She provided such great information about the property and showed us where to find fresh herbs for cooking, how to find clams in the cove, and how to cook them and lobster. It was such a magical place, full of wildlife and blooms (Lindsay filled the house with beautiful flower arrangements from the land). We loved taking the canoe out in the cove and saw two seals. The cottage had great hot water and everything we needed to cook. We would love to return one day and are so thankful for Lindsay’s hospitality.

This little cottage was exactly as the pictures portray! Its sits at the head of a cove, with long views of the cove. You can sit in a couple of sweet spots to watch the tide come and go. And the property is the most lovely, natural meadow with natural flora, bees and butterflies. So peaceful and gorgeous. Lindsay is wonderful -- kind, knowledgeable, and generous. It was like staying with a relative (one you really really like!!). We are avid kayaks, so watching the tides was important, but we loved paddling in the cove out to Stonington and the neighboring areas. Highly recommend!

A peaceful gem in coastal Maine

My friend Bill and I spent a week here over the July 4th weekend, and it was nothing short of soul-soothing. The moment we arrived, the house felt like a sanctuary—quiet, light-filled, and lovingly tended, with fresh flowers in vases that welcomed us like an embrace.We cooked nourishing meals with produce from the Blue Hill Co-op (a scenic 40-minute drive) and dined out just once—crab cakes at Fathom 27 in Stonington village, a short and beautiful drive away. Most days, I painted with watercolors, kayaked alone in the still cove, read in the hammock, and wandered to Barred Island through mossy woods and soft silence.At night, we sat by the fire pit and watched fireflies blink like stars in the grass. The days were unhurried and full of quiet beauty—each moment a soft exhale.Lindsay was a gracious and thoughtful host, present without ever intruding. Her care is felt in every corner of the space. I left feeling lighter, inspired, and more connected to myself.Thank you, Lindsay, for creating something so quietly magical. I will carry it with me. I will return

This cabin is thoughtfully curated with details thought through of things you might want; topo map, books on canoeing, butterfly nets, spare rain coats, gorgeous dishes, and is appointed with antique delights. Lindsay is full of knowledge on great many a subject, local to worldwide, and a joyful and thoughtful host.

Beautiful Home, Fantastic Hospitality

This space is not only a wonderfully appointed cottage but the property is splendid. From the canoeing to the hammock in the wooded area to the Adirondack chairs throughout with thoughtfully placed umbrellas, everything for a cozy and relaxing vacation is here! The gardens here are SPECTACULAR and the field of fireflies should not be missed! The space is thoughtfully and exquisitely decorated - the care and love for this place is evident. Lindsay is a wonderful and thoughtful host full of great suggestions of where to go, knowledge she's eager to share and enjoyable conversations. 15-20 minute commute to Haystack, close by to a little grocery store and Stonington. Hoping we can be back soon!

Beautiful Cottage at Deer Isle

Lindsay was a truly exceptional host and provided excellent information on local food and activities. We particularly enjoyed learning how to harvest mussels and clams, as well as kayaking in the cove. Our stay at the Meadow Cove cottage was lovely and the perfect getaway from the distractions of everyday life. I truly hope to be able to return and visit again in the future.

A true gem on Deer Isle

We loved our stay here! We are completely charmed by the natural beauty of the location. The owner Lindsay is dedicated to preserving the native flora of the property's meadow, forest, and cove. We delighted in the cove's low and high tide's changing landscape and fauna. Lindsay was a wonderful and gracious host, who was responsive to our little family's needs. Our only regret was not staying longer.

Peace and Quiet

We couldn’t have asked for a better experience. We’ve fallen in love with Stonington over the past several years, and this trip made it so memorable. Having access to the kayaks was amazing, and we loved being so close to downtown. We saw thousands of fireflies light up the meadow at night and the view of the cove and meadow never gets old. There’s even a decent stocked market right down the road. We can’t wait to come back.

Early summer stay

We enjoyed our stay in this very comfortable, bright, charming Maine cottage on a scenic inlet overlooking the cove. Simple, creative accommodations; enjoyed fresh cut, beautifully arranged flowers from her garden. Lindsay is such a thoughtful host.. she surprised us one day with a box of fresh strawberries. At night, the meadow was full of fireflies. A very special place.

Cove Meadow Cottage

I was looking for privacy and quiet; did not realize the host lives right next door and the very busy road runs just behind cottage. Beautiful views in front, road noise from behind, which I’m sensitive to. Floors are chipping their paint and are uneven, hard to get clean. Everything else above floor was clean. As a yoga practitioner the floor is important. I know what questions to ask next time. Host is very sweet and caring.

I have restored to pristine conservation standards and done the main house and its guest house and gardens to honor Maine and island traditions of simplicity.
