Premier suite Astoria sul fiume Columbia.

Situato al piano superiore dello storico Pier Pilot Station 14 (ancora gestito dalla Columbia River Piloti) il Pilot House è una suite di lusso elegantemente arredate nel cuore del lungomare storico di Astoria. Circondato dall'acqua, quasi ogni camera offre una vista panoramica sul fiume Columbia.
L'unità 1700 piedi quadrati, dispone di 3 camere, 3 bagni con 4 caminetti a gas. L'ampio soggiorno è arredato con mobili in pelle con un divano letto queen-size. C'è una cucina gourmet completamente attrezzata con sala da pranzo che può ospitare 10 persone. La suite matrimoniale ha un letto king size, bagno completo con vasca idromassaggio e doccia con una terrazza privata fuori al fiume.
La Camera pilota ha il calore e la sensazione di una casa con caratteristiche high-end di un albergo a quattro stelle. L'edificio è stato restaurato nel 2005 ed è quotata al Registro Storico Nazionale dei luoghi storici. All'interno troverete qualità del museo di reperti marittimi in tutto.
Astoria è il luogo perfetto per qualsiasi interesse ... la storia, avventura all'aria aperta, o attività marittima. Il Pilot House si trova a pochi passi da ristoranti, negozi e molte attrazioni locali. Sia il 5 miglia fiume passeggiata e la linea di tram passano proprio fuori dalla porta.

Oh my gosh, I love this house. It was right on the water loved loved watching the boats loved being able to see the sunrise and the sunset on the water loved seeing the fog come in. the house itself was beautiful, spotless, big, roomy, great great bathrooms. The location was outstanding. We walked to the movies we walked to get breakfast and lunch to go out for afternoon drink. It was a fantastic time. I really really enjoyed it and so did my family. Thank you for hosting us.

A very comfortable place. Very clean and comfortable beds. Would have liked comfortable chairs to enjoy the view better. Close to shopping and a short drive to seaside and cannon beach. A “must have” place to put on your bucket list.

The property was in a beautiful location with unbelievable views. Everything was clean and comfortable. It was easy to walk places and visit sites. The property manager was friendly and helpful. I’d highly recommend this place.

A truly wonderful place
This was our second visit to the property. The views are sublime, the mood of the water changes constantly and there is continuous action as pilot boats, ships and pleasure craft cruise past. There were 6 of us plus a 30 month old child. We cooked in every night for greater sociability than going to a restaurant. It was like being home but it was a vacation. You will not be disappointed here.

A perfect place by the river
The views of the river are terrific. The living room wall is all glass and it was fascinating to watch the big ships go in and out, as well as the pilot boats go out to meet them and assist them through the difficult waters in and out of the ocean. The location is terrific--you can easily walk to several restaurants from the VRBO as well as walk to the Marine Museum, which is well worth the walk.

Great location!
We loved the entire experience at the Pilot House! There were 6 of us staying for just one night for a weddingat the Astor Hotel which was walkable! The views and accomodations at this propert were spectacular! I wish we could have stayed longer!

PERFECT place in the perfect location
Teresa Olson was really easy to work with. She was accurate and quick in replying to my questions. She did exactly as she said she would throughout the entire process. There were no unpleasant surprises, only happy ones. The view is so fun and very entertaining. The pilots went out to the ships often, waving to us on their way in and out. It was fun to see all the activity. We never heard noise at night and never used the provided earplugs at each bedside. I wish it had 4 bedrooms so no one in my family had to sleep on the sofa but I would highly recommend the Pilot House.

The W-pack didn't want to leave!
I still feel like it was a dream...waking up and having coffee with that view of the Columbia River right in front of me. Amazing! Astoria is great, we love it. The Pilot House though...it made our trip one of the very best yet! It was hands down the most comfortable and relaxing place to stay! I have NOTHING negative to say. The beds are amazing, the view is priceless and we felt like royalty with our parking spots. We traveled with friends (3 couples total) and it was the perfect accommodation for us all. All three couple slept great as well. The noise was not an issue at all. The Host...she is amazing too! To those who are reading this... Click "Book Now" if it's available. You WILL NOT regret it. It's worth every penny and you won't want to leave either! Chang!

Amazing Stay
We were super excited about our stay at the Pilot House and it was even better than we expected. Beds are super comfortable, kitchen well appointed and you can’t beat the view! It was really exciting being right in the middle of all the boats/ships comings and goings. And the location is great too! Right in the historic part of town. We loved our stay and would love to come back! Thank you Pilot House (and Teresa) for your wonderful hospitality!

The best place to stay in Astoria!
We loved this rental! It was spacious, clean and right in the middle of everything in downtown Astoria. You can walk most anywhere and the food and shops are convenient and excellent. We highly recommend Gizmo’s Arcade and the Surf 2 Soul food truck. Highly recommend a stay for any large family or group.

The property is on the National Historic Register. Built in 1904 by the Callender Navigation Company for the headquarters for their tug and barge business. Also, Pier 14 served as the terminus of the Megler Ferry which made the crossing to and from Washington.

The long history in the maritime industry continues today as the communication center and pilot boat launch for the Columbia River Pilots. The Pilot House gives you a front row seat to viewing pilots boarding and disembarking from the passing ships.
