I've managed this home as a VRBO vacation rental, on and off, since 2004, with many return renters. Rest assured, our team will take good care of you. I'm a long-time local who visited Saugatuck as a child and fell in love with the town and the lakeshore. It's easy and fun to play the role of host and travel guide in such a fabulous place. Come visit!
Alison purchased this House in 1997
Why Alison chose Saugatuck
I love Lake Michigan and its magical shoreline. Saugatuck is home to some of the most beautiful sand dunes in the world: forested, grassy, and, of course, sandy! The beaches have been voted the most beautiful in the world: no salt, sharks, no worries. Our town is friendly, fun, and loaded with charm and unique places to shop, dine, relax, and explore. You can be as relaxed or as energetic as you like.
What makes this House unique
From the refurbished 1950s kitchen to the bedroom built-ins to the vintage bathroom tile to the glossy pine and oak floors to the profusion of large windows, there is nothing cookie-cutter about this house, and you can watch the world go by from the lush fenced yard. Lake Michigan is just a 10-minute drive away and downtown is so close by even toddlers can walk there. In fact, the playground is a block away, and the beloved Saugatuck Drugstore with an old-fashioned soda fountain is just a block farther.
